TIB Homer Fantasy League

Post by orcinus »

With only a couple weeks to go, it's about time we get this fired up again. There is a maximum of 20 teams in the league, so it should be pretty easy to fill with the teams represented here. If your team is taken, you may sign up for one of the other unclaimed teams with little or no fan representation here.

The rules are simple ...

Your fantasy team consists of only players from your designated NFL team on both sides of the ball.

1 x QB
1 x RB
2 x WR
1 x TE
1 x K

2 x D
2 x DL
2 x DB

Once you get your initial roster, you simply need to check in weekly to make any minor adjustments to your roster due to injury, substitutions or hot players on the defensive side of the ball. Aside from injuries, this is a pretty hands-off league.

Sign up below with your preferred team AND INITIAL ROSTER, and I'll PM the league ID and password.

To clarify a question that was brought up ...

The rosters you're posting here are only so the league's "draft" can be completed. You are committed to them in no way, shape or form; however, I need these lists in order to start the season. Once that happens, you're free to add/drop/swap to your heart's content ... so long as your limit your selections to players from the team you represent.

Only nine teams on the yahoo site so far. If you don't have the league info yet, PM me for details.

If you do, get your team on the yahoo site asap. The rosters can't be set until all the teams are in, and it does take a little bit of work to pull off ... not something you want to do all at once right before the season starts.

League is set at 16 teams.

I'll be adding rosters today and should have everything finalized by this evening. As long as the two teams playing tomorrow's game have their lineups set, everything will be fine for Sunday.

You never signed up for the league on Yahoo, Buc.

I just finished all the teams; however, I haven't finalized the draft yet.

If you want to sign up at the yahoo site (you should have a pm with instructions) as the "Tampa Bay Buccaneers'", I'll see if Felix still wants in as Denver.

That would bring us to 18 teams ... swuuut.

Last year I ran the Saints homer team and you could only put Reggie in as a RB. That fucked me quite a bit as everytime I started Duece, Reggie would have the big game and vice versa. Drew Brees spreads the ball around so much it's hard to even pick which receivers will have the big game. (See Dallas game last year: Mike Karney = Three freaking touchdowns???? - Like I had him playing that week :sheesh: )

Bottom line: Saints go all the way to the NFC Championship game and I got my ass kicked in the Homer League FF

Good luck with that.

Edit to add that you would be a moron not to start Marques Colston.
