Seems to me, that the new "ray gun" might just confirm that we are "the American devils from hell !!!!" that the Iraqi people see us as.

But fuck it, it might make us look bad; so let's just keep shooting at them with real bullets!!! Only in America. When will the PC shit end???

The MAJORITY of Iraqis want the US gone tommorow. Good thing we're showing them the ways of "democracy," eh?

And fuck a buncha "right to peacably assemble."

The USA has kicked its own ass so badly, it may take generations to recover. I don't even blame Bush -- I blame the retards who thought that when they stepped into the voting booth, they thought that electing people with so much vested interest in military imperialism was a good idea.

Nice job, tards.

Would you like another 8000 links, or is that enough to make you feel stupid(it certainly should, anyway)?

We're definitely teaching them a lesson in American-style democracy, though.

In any event, their elected representatives don't want anything to do with the idea because they know better.
What they know is that they are seen as nothing but US puppets. They would be the first to die after we pull out. Small wonder they want us to stay.

If we're the devils from hell, what was Sadam and his regime, and what are Al Qaeda and the many other groups of suicide bombers and murderous militias? You're spewing the same old bullshit cliches, some real Hollywood shit. You should know that we are the good guys, and none of those citizens would trade us fighting over there for Sadam's return. Civilian casualties are an unfortunate side effect of war. Funny how so many loudmouths (Americans especially) will never miss an opportunity to knock US military action, but rarely have anything to say about the evil shit that brings us to the fight. Most people like you could care less about dictators torturing and murdering citizens. Do you even know what imperialism is? We didn't go over there to colonize. I shudder to think that people like yourself can influence US policy in the voting booth; you probably wouldn't recognize a threat to your country if it blew up your family's house.

By ignorant douchebags like you maybe.
You know that the nanosecond the US pulls out of Iraq, members of the Iraqi Parliament will be dropping like flies.

BSmack and mvscal,

This is not post total smack, just an observation. You guys are both closing in fast on 15,000 posts here, and you’re roughly only 50 posts apart. You’re like T1B’s Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno. Twin dumbfucks of different mothers.

Iraq will eventually split into at least 3 autonomous regions whenver we do leave. This of course after their civil war takes it's course. I've read the Sunni's actually hate the Shia more than they hate US. Something about Infidels being something better than Apostates. I'd also guess as soon as we pull out completely, Turkey will cross the border to go after the Kurds. We are the only thing holding them back at the moment.

Not a question of if this will happen, but when.

mvscal wrote:It won't. That is a common fantasy based on complete ignorance of Iraqi society. Iraq is divided on tribal lines not ethnic or sectarian lines.

A full scale civil war such as you postulate will result in a tribal confederation dominating the united country. There is no basis for a split on ethnic/sectarian lines.
Hence my statement at least 3 autonomous regions.
You can't possibly believe, when we eventually depart, that country won't break into full scale civil war.
The other end game could be the Shia, with Iran's backing, would push the Sunni & Kurds out.

What should concern us the most is Iran's intention of exerting control over the region...They have already been so thoroughly involved in supplying weapons to kill US troops, and now Ahmedinejad (I know I missed some h's in there somewhere) is mouthing off about filling the void that is soon to exist because of our waning political influence (aka American liberals). Suck my balls...

OK, so put it to a vote. If GET THE FUCK OUT wins, we get the fuck out the next day and let them slaughter each other- imo.

It's a win-win situatiion for us, btw

Nice short term solution. However, when they get bored over there, they'll be coming after you. :?
