Hats off to the Mountaineers...I'm more embarrassed by this than by what the Lions have done during the Millen era. Time to retire, Lloyd.

carr gets criticized for his inability to shift on the fly as well as being too conservative. he should get fired for taking an entire summer off. all those penalties? can't kick a fucking fg? nothing like listening to some 19-year-old hick qb telling michigan radio that the umich defense is easy to read on film and didn't change at all throughout the game. that's the second straight loss we've had to listen to some player explain how lloyd can't call a game.

I guess...they're 0-3 since he's passed on. I can at least deal with the Buckeye and Trojan defeats...this one is unspeakable.

This is unprecedented. Michigan's defense is to blame for this historic upset.

It's not the same defense as last year, that's for sure. Lose guys like Woodley, Hall, Branch, Harris and Watson and it tests what kind of depth you have. Lloyd gets all of the blame for this because he's got to coach these guys up and Ron English also gets the goat horns for being out-schemed for a third straight game. This wasn't a top 5 team from the beginning but it doesn't take away from the accomplishment by the Mountaineers.

If the regular season is a playoff, than Michigan is out of it already. Play for the conference title and still get a bowl bid if you somehow win out (highly unlikely with this team though). I've flipped over to watch the Tigers...hopefully they can pull it out and make the playoffs and the Red Wings are just a month away. We've got other sports in Michigan to follow, I'm not about to jump out of a building after this. Michigan just decided to show how big of a fraud they are now instead of the OSU game.

Better now than midway through the season. If UM runs tha table, they still could get some consideration for the title game. You never know.

HAIL TO THE FUCKING LOSERS

way to go, you fucking pussies. that's what you get for scheduling I-AA app state for the 12th game. instead of actually going out and schedule a competitive game, you go for the season-opening money game, and it blows up in your fucking faces. go out and lock eastern michigan into a long term contract, you might actually have a chance at winning a game.

to quote the app state quarterback after the game: "we watched a lot of tape and saw they leave the middle open a lot. today they left the middle open the entire game and we attacked it."

michigan's record vs. 1-AA opponents in history: 0-and-fucking-1

RACK THE OPENING WEEKEND OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

FUCK THE FUCKING LOSERS.

KEEP LLLLloyd.

As much as I love to see Michigan get embarrassed, this is not exactly what I had in mind. This Buckeye fan is not too thrilled about today.

First reason, the Big Ten's reputation is already a little in question after last year's BCS games. This debacle is a huge black eye to the conference. If Wisconsin or tOSU or PSU run the table, and there are two other undefeated teams I think the B10 has virtually no shot at getting to the MNC.

Second reason, this pretty much seals the deal for Llllloyd Carr. He will be forced to retire after this year. And I'd just hate to see the guy go.

I was playing golf during this game. Was going to play two more holes but decided to head to the clubhouse. Glad I did. Got there just in time to see App kick the FG. After the Manningham catch I was like, ok, here it goes. Creamed my pants on the block.

Not a Mich hater, but I always love to see the huge underdog get the victory. That game made those kids highlight of their life.

As a Buckeye fan, I feel the same way. I don't even like it when Purdue or Minnesota (as they are doing right now) lose to MAC teams. But freakin Meeshigan? to a 1AA ? Gimme a freakin' break

Now you 10ers know how we 12ers felt after the Colorado loss. While Colorado is no Michigan and Colorado was in disrepair, it was still a black eye for the XII. I guess if it was Nebraska, my point could hold more water, but you know what I'm saying.

MichiganFan can at least have the good feeling that Carr will finally be gone after this...unless he actually beasts OSU. Who knows then.
