not a very good team if you give up an offensive td to notre dame, let alone give up any rushing yardage.
actually, only caught bits and pieces of the game yesterday, but the bit i saw was impressive. as in, an msu player would make a tackle after notre dame picked up a first down and then stand up to regroup with the rest of his defense. in years past that same player would drop some b-boy shit while the coaches were trying to get their defensive calls and invariably give up a long td pass b/c he didn't catch his assignment. dantonio seems have instilled some discipline into the program, and considering talent's never been msu's achilles, perhaps they'll put a string of big ten runs together.

Big one for them next week in Madison...their biggest test of the season. If they win that one, I can see them 7-0 going into the Ohio State game. I think we're seeing the typical jolt of energy a new coach gives to a school and they overachieve but I think when he starts to get "his guys" in the fold up there, they'll perennially show up in the top half of the conference.
