What happened to the Blot v. Donkey thread?

Post by poptart »

Oh .... there wasn't one.
Slackers.

Norv does Dungver.

Well, the Mules don't lose two-in-a-row at home very often.
Their offense has moved the ball well in each game played, but has had red zone failings.
That'll happen with a young QB.
Even if T. Henry can't go, I see the Donkeys moving up and down the field on SD's sub-par defense.
Can they punch it in a few times?
I say affirmative.

Dungver has not stopped the run, and if Norv yanks his head out, unlike last week, he'll KEEP feeding LT the rock.
Keep feeding him and he'll eventually break a couple big ones against the Horsies.
But at the end of the day I just don't see the current SD offense being able to keep pace.
The Chargless will be on a 4-game skid when the bad boys from Oakland arrive in town next Sunday.

Me like.

Damn, after what we did to them last week I didn't expect BlotFan to mimic their team and go fetal position in the corner of a dark room too.

It would be bad form to start a thread about the game until the day of.

Another NFL weekend coming up, another weekend of hope.

Break out week for the Chargers. The Broncos have problems and think
the Chargers are going to roll over and die. No way.
Norvilicious does the rat. Hard.

Chargers 20

Donks 10

Looks like pop is looking forward to Raiduh week already.

Tomlinson runs all over Denver’s defense for 3 scores, Cutler hooks up with Marshall for 2 TD’s to go along with a rushing TD from Selvin Young. Elam kicks his 3rd game winner of the year.

Yes, and while I'm not adverse to the idea of the Mules losing and being at 2-3, I think the Raider-SD game next week sets up better for Oakland if SD loses this Sunday.

A loss puts the Bolts in a total free-fall, while a win might be a boost of confidence that the team desperately needs right now.
I'd rather Oakland not face the 'gaining confidence' Bolts.
The 'in free-fall mode' Bolts are more appetizing.

And hey, Oakland might actually do Charger fan a favor and beat your squad down so badly in front of the home crowd that your suits decide they have no choice but to shitcan Norv mid-season.

Sandy Eggo needs the win in the worst possible way....Broncos in turmoil (s'up Travis), an injured Javon Walker, and an offense that is lethargic at best.....

even being at home won't save them.....

Not a chance-Spanos is well known for being one of the cheapest fucks in the league, and there is no way he'll eat a 4 year 12 million dollar contract a half a season into it. The more likely scenario here is that thier GM gets fired.

Anyhow, you make a good point about the game.......but at this juncture, I dont give a damn which Chargette team we get-we're going to fucking destroy them whether they win or lose this week. As for the matchup itself, With Henry being out the running game will hit a few snags. The Hee-Haws still pull it out.

Coach cheese nibbler basically said that they're going to play Henry until the NFL drops the hammer on him.

Yes, it was........

But you're forgetting the best part about this hollow win-the simple fact that Spanos now believes he made the right decision in this coaching hire. This is the absolute peak this team will ever see during the Norvelous 4 year tenure-so you'd better enjoy it, blotfan. From here on out, every loss will be countered with "well, its not Norv-we've seen what his gameplan can accomplish"

All because of a game that Denver rolled over in, and Ghey Cutler fucking sucked in yet again.

Personally, i couldnt be happier about the outcome.

:D
