Like 88 said - you have those kinds of folks everywhere. There are some PSU fans who would never have believed it until now, though.

We've had a number of unfortunate surprises of late. Like I said before - I never would have dreamed I'd hear Joe Paterno shifting blame from himself onto a specific group of players or onto officials. I used to hear other coaches do that, and think, "damn, at least we'll never hear Joe do that".

But why were OSU fans at a PSU frat house?

That is just asking for trouble.

I can't place the frat - but many of them are in residential areas. These were probably just fans heading to their cars or motels.

At Mizzou, they usually have great deals on parking n stuff on the frats lots. Beer/brats/parking for $15 or $20. Ive seen even fuckhead KU fans park and have no problems, so id assume it was the same or a lot that was in middle of frat houses. Cant blame them for walking to their cars or to the game.

Interfraternity Council President Grant Miller (senior-English) also could not give additional information, but said he believes no Penn State student meant to disrespect any Ohio State student.

Oh ok. I guess they were just offering those guys beers then...in a friendly sort of way.

Frats are like any other organization. Where there is a lack of good leadership, you have problems. When you have the Interfraternity Council President making such a foolish statement, you will have his charges behaving foolishly as well.

Pitt student charged in PSU fight

It's arguably the most fight Pitt has shown during a football weekend in recent memory.

But it was for all the wrong reasons.

Richard A. Eisenberger Jr., 20, a University of Pittsburgh student, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment in connection with an off-campus brouhaha before the Penn State-Ohio State football game last weekend, State College police said yesterday.

Police said they identified Eisenberger, of Easton, as the man seen in an online video throwing a beer can at an Ohio State fan Saturday night.

The unnamed victim, a 21-year-old Ohio State student, was walking through an outdoor party at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity when party-goers became hostile, police said.

A video of the incident surfaced on YouTube and shows the victim being pelted with beer cans. Eisenberger struck the victim with a beer can near the neck, police said. Eisenberger could not be reached for comment.

The victim suffered bruising from the attack but did not require medical treatment, police said.

The fraternity also was charged with disorderly conduct, police said. Penn State's Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life has temporarily suspended Pi Kappa Alpha chapter activities until the investigation is complete.
