It was also on a shit call by the officials when the Colts were at 4th and inches and they move 'em back 5 yards.trev wrote:I never pin a loss or a win down to one field goal but have at it simpleton...Felix wrote:think of it as Adam Vinateri's gift to Blots fans.....trev wrote:

Do you think they were really planning on going for the first on that play?BBMarley wrote:It was also on a shit call by the officials when the Colts were at 4th and inches and they move 'em back 5 yards.trev wrote:I never pin a loss or a win down to one field goal but have at it simpleton...Felix wrote: think of it as Adam Vinateri's gift to Blots fans.....
It was an obvious attempt at drawing the Chargers offside, and they weren't going for it. The Clots probably would have run the play clock down and taken 5 yards anyway.

They would not have taken it to 0 and the delay of game. They still had timeouts left. IF they were not going to run a play- Manning would have called TO at the 2 or 3 second mark and then kicked from 24 yards.Mikey wrote:Do you think they were really planning on going for the first on that play?BBMarley wrote:It was also on a shit call by the officials when the Colts were at 4th and inches and they move 'em back 5 yards.trev wrote: I never pin a loss or a win down to one field goal but have at it simpleton...

About 11% better to be precise.mvscal wrote:If nothing else, it illustrates the significance of pure dumb luck in deciding the outcome of football games. Whatever the Colts were thinking doesn't really matter. How often does Vinatieri miss a 29 yard chip shot? You would have better odds playing Russian Roulette with one empty cylinder.

He has some talent but if he hasn't been able to get his shit together by now, any remaining hope is getting dim. Error prone QB, shit playcalling on both sides of the ball. Glaring lack of preparation.
This team does have some of the best talent in the league and they got blown out by a second tier team last week. Our only hope is for the special teams to score 3 or 4 TDs but I don't see that happening.
Colts 40
Bolts 13
...anyone wanna challenge Mikey's NFL savy now?
