Meanwhile recruits will fall by the wayside.

Tick tock, Danny Boy.

So what is he deal? Peterson already said no.

I know Norm Chow's name has come-up heavily lately. Jones and Leach want the job.

Neuheisel would win some but the team would be too soft to contend. Walker isn't getting it though I wouldn't jerk him around since he might be a good option to stay at DC.

The recruiting dead-period is fast-approaching. If you don't make a hire now say goodbye to recruiting in December.

Finish interviews and make a decision.

The gossipers are leaning toward the Chow-Walker team coaching the O&D, with Chow the ceremonial "head coach"....

Short leash to display his shmoozability with recruiting, boosters, alumni, media, etc....

Walker probably gets a huge raise and increased consideration for the future.....

i'd jump off a bridge if Terry Bowden ending up coaching my team. unless that team was entering truffle digging contests or something to do with tator tots or now defunct Big Boy restaurants.

I'll never forget Chris Fowler, right after the Tater Tot quit, proclaiming that he could have any coaching job he wanted.

That was ten years ago.

Props to UCLA... competing with SMU, Southern Miss and Baylor for a coaching candidate.

Knox may end up at Notre Dame. He played Pop Warner with Crist and they're still good friends. He'd be a good fit with the Irish.
