The other names being mentioned for the job are kind of a meh group. Could be why Rodriquez was looking to bolt. They paid him decently because he proved himself and they had to but it doesn't seem like their general attitude/spending say's "bigtime" program.
The Saban thing would be hilarious but I doubt it happens, he came to Bama for the huge-bucks and WV isn't doling out those. But I guess it is possible he is just unhappy at Bama and is willing to take a pay-cut to get someplace with less pressure on him.
