Tyler Thigpen

Post by poptart »

Who??

I watched a clip on NFL.com where Adam Schyster was pimping T. Thigpen as a potential sleeper QB who might have a breakout year and surprise folks ... ala Derek Anderson of last year.

I'd honestly never heard of the guy.

KC didn't draft QB, so they appear set to go to war in '08 with Croyle, Huard and Thigpen.
We know what Huard is.
Jury is still out on Croyle, IMO.
Thigpen??

I guess the Chef 'braintrust' thinks ONE of the three can do an adequate job this year.
I know a lot of KC fans don't believe in Brodie.

Is Thigpen the guy?

Chef fan?

Just ... no?

Why no?

Schyster said he's got a pretty good arm, he's competetive and he demonstrates some leadership qualities.

True?

Still no?

Why was no QB drafted, in your view, if you've got nothing but dogshit at the position?

Brodie Croyle will be given ALL the opportunity in the world THIS season to establish himself as The Starting QB for the Kansas City Chiefs. They feel that he wasn't put in a position to win games last year (worst offensive line in the league, LJ going down early in the season, etc.) and they want to see how he'll perform with a full off-season KNOWING he's the clear starting QB, a rebuilt O-line that will be better than last year (NOT hard to do, BTW), and "hopefully" a healthy Larry Johnson to hand off to.

Frankly BC has NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER to not play better this season than he did last season.
