I actually have to hand it to Quanell X for getting this piece of shit to open up and tell the cops where the kids were.
This is so fucked.
Police: Dad leads cops to remains of missing kids
HOUSTON — The father of two missing children has led investigators to the children's charred remains, police said Saturday.
Police found the remains of Randy Sylvester Jr., 7, and his sister Denim Sylvester, 3, packed in a wooden chest and a suitcase and left in a wooded area in southeastern Houston, about 5 miles from their home in suburban Pasadena, said Vance Mitchell, a Pasadena police spokesman.
Their father, Randy Sylvester Sr., 27, led searchers to the remains late Friday after a week of misleading statements about where the children were located, Mitchell said. Sylvester remained jailed Saturday on an assault charge stemming from an alleged Monday night attack on the children's mother, Jerilynn St. Cyr.
Police found the children's remains after community activist Quanell X interceded with the father at the request of the children's mother, Mitchell said.
The discovery of the bodies ended a week of turbulent emotions for police, searchers and the children's family and friends.
"It's been very, very, very rough. I mean, we've had a lot of people; we've dedicated a lot of officers and resources to this case," Mitchell said. "It's been very emotional for a lot of people since we're dealing with two young children."
Authorities said Quanell X led authorities to the site after the father talked with him for about an hour near a pond in Pasadena. Police said Sylvester's previous statements had directed their search to the pond, which was drained in the hope of finding the children, but the remains were located six miles away, Mitchell said.
There was no comment Saturday from St. Cyr, who did not respond to calls to her apartment. There was also no response to calls seeking comment from Quanell X's New Black Panther Party.
Tim Miller's volunteer search organization, Texas Equusearch, provided more than 500 volunteers to the search effort. From the beginning, "everybody knew they were deceased," Miller said Saturday.
The search was as grim an undertaking as the Dickinson-based mounted search and recovery organization has ever undertaken, Miller said. "I believe that when they were found, it was a huge relief to all of us," he said.

It's sad, Goobs, because this guy should have been back in jail when this all happened.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Pasadena father accused of killing his two children is in the Harris County Jail facing capital murder charges.
Now we learn more about Randy Sylvester Sr. Once a promising kid, his mother says something went wrong.
Police say Sylvester led them to where his children's bodies were burned and then buried in a shallow grave in southeast Houston. Their bodies were found early Saturday morning.
Sylvester is charged with two counts of capital murder. The district attorney says he hasn't decided yet whether to seek the death penalty in this case.
After three trips outside the jail, two Pasadena ponds and eventually to where his children's burned bodies were found, Randy Sylvester's movements are now very limited. He is being housed on the jail's second floor, home to the highest security inmates and homicide detectives are denying him all visitors except his attorney. Shackles, handcuffs and a bright yellow jumpsuit set him apart from the other inmates. It's a world apart from where he came.
"I know he was not raised like this," said his mother Alanda Sylvester.
Alanda Sylvester describes her son as a smart boy from New Orleans. He was in gifted classes, she says, in his public school. He played football and the trumpet. He and Jerilynn St Cyr, Denim and Randy Jr.'s mother, were not married, but had been together for years. They were high school sweethearts, but Alanda says their relationship was tumultuous.
"They were always at it for some reason or another," she told us.
So much so that he kept a second apartment. Witnesses say what he called "The Dog House" was full of pornography.
His mother says he was a plumber by trade. According to Pasadena police he was unemployed and we learned on probation at the time of the children's murders. In November he pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, though court documents obtained by Eyewitness News show for months he failed to comply with the terms of that probation. He was never brought back to court for a judge to decide whether to revoke it and send him to jail.
"I'm feeling the system failed these two kids, they failed Randy and Denim," said crime victims' advocate Andy Kahan.
While critics examine what went wrong, Sylvester's mother is doing the same. How could her promising son end up like this?
"It is killing me, it is killing me, you don't know how much it is killing me," Alanda said.
Alanda Sylvester says her son has denied killing his kids. She says unless the facts show differently, she has to believe him. But let me be clear, she loved her grandchildren deeply. This is tearing her up as her son sits in jail.
Last night, dozens of mourners and well-wishers attended a memorial at the site where the youngsters' bodies were found. We've learned there's another memorial in the works later this week.
I have the sentiments as you do when they are older and commit those crimes, but you should always give children a chance to make up their mind when they reach that age. These kids weren't even given that opportunity.

All the "DIE DIE!" talk is cheerleading at best. And stupid because everyone is going to buy the farm anyway at some point. Use your fucking brain, if you have one, in the meantime. You know, as if you were a white man and all.

What you say is a logical fallacy. Plenty of stupid people have believed in good ideas too. And sometimes "smart" people are inveterate racist jackasses. No, what makes mvscal's argument look absurd is the sheer absurdity of his logic that self inflicted African/African-American genocide is a desirable outcome. It is so ridiculous that it does not deserve a rebuttal, only ridicule and scorn.

And in the case of Stanley Q. Pickle and KFC Paul you have chronically stupid people who are inveterate racist jackasses.

At least Mexicans are willing to work.
So, you're going to stand by the stereotype bullshit, even with innocent kids.

At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.
