Here is my favorite part:

"Refund must be requested prior to the USC game on Nov. 15 and ticket must be physically turned into ticket office by Nov. 5, 2008. Refund will be processed within 30 days after request for refund. The USC game ticket must accompany the refund request."



So if you don't physically return your ticket to the ticket office prior to Nov. 5, no refund.... notwithstanding that the $C game is Nov. 15.

That said, Furd is really setting itself up for disaster here. What happens when hundreds of people line up to get their $130 back? And all they have to do is NOT go to the $C game! They are effectively giving away free season tickets, minus the $C game.....all one has to do is buy the ticket, go to all the games but $C, then return the $C ticket and collect their money back. Insane.

So Furd will give refunds and then spend the ten days before the $C game desperately trying to sell all the $C tickets that were returned for a refund. Which makes the $C ticket unmarketable from a resell perspective because the ticket office will probably have tickets available.

The only way this makes any sense is if Furd is convinced that it will come nowhere close to selling out any of its games other than $C anyway, so it's not a big deal to effectively give out free tickets to all of the other games. Which may well be the case.
