How fucking bad can this be? McCain is so worried about having to answer for Palin that he's running scared of Larry King?

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch ... oe-no.htmlOh, That Joe! (No. 5 in a Series) -- Biden: Now is the Moment for me 'as a US Senator Running for President' to Put Aside Politics
At a Scranton, Penn., Italian festival this afternoon, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del. standing on the side of a black Suburban, took the microphone to address the downtown crowd and explain why Hurricane Gustav precluded his campaigning today.
"I will be back, I'll be back to campaign in earnest," Biden said, "but today is not the moment for me to campaign. Today is the moment for me as a United States senator running for president to put aside the national politics and focus on what's happening down there" in the Gulf Coast.
Biden has still spent more time this election cycle campaigning for president than he has running for vice president.

Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." The librarian, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire her for not giving "full support" to the mayor.

It's not human mvscal, it's not human because it doesn't look like us, talk like us, it doesn't have feelings yet, and it's just a piece of tissue. Bascially it's a parasite.
Which is ironic, seeing the left wing socialists would want us to all become parasites feeding off what the host state lets us have.
Hmm, there's something to that. It's not okay to kill humans, it's okay to kill parasites - socialists want to create a nation of parasites .....
Hmmm. Fascinating stuff this is. Like I said, human kind is too stupid to define when "life" begins.
But as George Carlin once said .... "You can't fool me, it stops a beating heart". A human heart.

Honesty, truth and common sense? Come on Tom. I respect your opinions about as much as anyone else's on this board, but back up a step or two, as the point about a "religious wackfest" isn't altogether what Scott implied.Tom In VA wrote:No. It's called honesty, truth and common fucking sense. But if you need to lump all people that view abortion as killing a human being into some religious wackfest, feel free.
Look at it like this. If you knew you were going to have a child, and said child was going to be born horribly deformed, you know, freakshow flipper-baby status, or perhaps was going to suffer from crippling mental disfunction, how fair is it to bring said child to term? Now by no means do I imply that all birth defects fall into this catagory. In fact, the kind I'm referring to are in the minority. There are some amazing people in this world who are equipped to deal with the life-long issues that come along with raising a child with such issues. But the reality is, most people aren't.
Would you want to spend your life deformed, or mentally disfunctional, unable to care for yourself?
Simply put, nobody can throw a blanket statement of pro or con on the subject of abortions. Nobody has that right. It is up to the parents and the parents alone.

here's where i jumped into this "conversation":
sooner or later the guy who want so bad to be your father wrote this:all this "i'm not *baaaa* partisan but you're *baaa* a partisan sheep *baaa*" has been comical. face it, palin wasn't vetted very carefully and now there's a host of shit to spin. imagine how much there'd be if she weren't so experienced fighting on the front lines of the alaskan frontier with all the other gwb-like fighter pilots in the ang. she and her not-penis were rolled out specifically to say hillary's a cool chick, come vote for this pile of melanoma, but since it took all of two days for that to be booed out of her stump speech the repubz are left justifying a whole lot of [.....empty space.....].
i responded with:The "media vetting" you refer to consists of bald faced lies about her party affiliation, fake myspace pages and unsubstantiated rumor mongering about her pregnancy. Since we're on the subject of media vetting, where is Onogga's real birth certificate by the way?
clearly the issue here is whether or not she was vetted, which is a process used to identify issues in her background that may be exploited against her politically regardless of their relevance to actual governing. the 527, troopergate, and her husband's secessionist wet dream are all issues the campaign has to deal with, are they not? i'm sorry you're so unsmart.you should refrain from blanket hysterics. i fully agree it's pitiful to pursue rumors about a fake preggers or to pin some 18-year-old's affection for rednecks and "fucking shit up" on palin. but the bald-faced lies about party affiliation? hardly. running steven's 527? troopergate? if it weren't such an issue she'd help fastrack the investigation as to be exonerated asap rather than try to delay her deposition.

The parents, CHOOSE, whether or not to keep a human being alive. I've been roped into this mess because I simply call "abortion" what it is, terminating a human life. It seems that people who want to be "Pro-Choice" have a need to rationalize their "Pro Choice" view by engaging in semantic debate and euphamisms leading people to believe ... "Well, it isn't really human yet".Jay in Phoenix wrote: Nobody has that right. It is up to the parents and the parents alone.
So, When is it Human ?
The answer seems to be "When we say so". I have indicated that when human engage in determining who is human and who is not, we've often gotten ourselves into trouble. We have.
Do women have a right to choose what they do with that human life ? Yes.
Do States have a right to legislate whether or not doctors can provide the service of terminating that child in a safe environment ? Yes.
Do i think Roe v. Wade went against the States rights to CHOOSE their laws and regulations ? Yes.
I have a sister in law, she miscarried early into the pregnancy. She wept and mourned the loss of her child. To her it was a human being, because she wanted a baby. Others, have abortions for the very reasons you mention, they do so mournfully, their primary thought in mind is that no human being should have to live with certain disabilities ... to them ... it is a human being.
In both cases, a human being lost life.

That's what I was saying to you. We all have the right to choose whether we kill human beings or not.Jay in Phoenix wrote: Tom, that wasn't what I was talking about.

How about when it has a significantly sofisticated enough nervous system, actually, capable of giving it independant life on its own, rather than an existence as a parasite? How about when it ceases going through the tadpole, fish and lizard stages of evolution and actually takes human form? How about when it ceases to be a microscopic object, smaller than the head of a pin and could actually be seen with the naked eye?Tom In VA wrote: So, When is it Human ?
I hope you don't shed a tear every time you jerk off to Sarah Palin pictures as well, because not everything that is capable of becoming human is human.
Honestly assigning a value of "human" to an embryo, before its developed all of the neccessary organs and its central nervous system is absolutely a matter of religion, as the only way to logically conclude it is through assigning it a "soul" at a point before independant thought is possible.
