This is a team that barely beat Deleware and got hammered by Middle Tennessee. I think Cal pulls it out though - they can score points in bunches.

It looks like arriving last night and playing first thing in the morning after traveling 3,000 miles isn't working well.

We all knew Maryland isn't all that competent. But they're playing Cal, so it really doesn't matter.

BTW, on the list of all time lame excuses...

We had too many injuries.
The BCS robbed us.
Poor play calling.
Bad officiating.
Didn't get the breaks.
