Mmmmmm-kay.
well, ASU did lose at home to UNLV the previous week. a team Iowa State pushed to OT in Vegas. Iowa State.

i'll give you the "traveling west of the Mississippi" points...but, the rest of the argument you'll need to make on your own.

I happened to catch this game from my suite up in the pressbox.

ASU's defense played well but was gassed by the end of the 1st half. Their offense couldn't get anything done. No running game, and Carpenter looked awful. Georgia manhandled them and they didn't really even start running wild with Moreno until the 2nd half. Props to Dawgfan as well, they represented very well on the west coast. Except for the S-E-C chants (which I hear they do during actual SEC matchups-- wtf??), they were fairly reasonable to deal with.

SEC is just plain loaded this year. It would be a shame if the conference winner isn't playing in the NC game. Although a one-loss Ohio State team would definitely deserve it more than a one-loss SEC winner. Sykeknot.

I am shocked here. I can't believe it. The Pac-10 sucks? And to think a few weeks back the Pac-10 honks on here were calling me an idiot for saying the SEC is a better conference and that the Pac-10 isn't any good. Guess I'm not the idiot......

No racks since it took 40 years to accomplish this, but I'll give 'em an 'atta boy! and a pat on the back.
You missed a good game if you didn't watch it.
What the hell was so "great" about it? Just because it featured an almighty SEC team? ASU is inept and the game itself wasn't competitive.

Never ever heard of that in an SEC matchup. Never.

Mmmmmm-kay.

That would be like commenting on Cal or $C beating Mississippi State and bragging about it.

Says who ?

2 months ago... I mentioned how ASU was overrated and even a week before the UNLV game I mentioned how bad they were and wouldn't be in the top 25 by the end of the season.

I think I mentioned that Georgia should kill ASU.

Get back to me when Georgia, LSU, or Auburn plays Cal or $C out west.

Cal plays ASU in a couple of weeks and it won't be much of a game.

Sam in new orleans at the end of the MNC game the LSU faithful were chanting SEC SEC...so it has been uttered plus at the end of the UF v Miami game you could hear it...

that is the one thing that bothers me...LSU wins the title and the whole SEC claims the title...so I get OLE MISS fan giving me shit...um if Michigan wins a national title good for them...but I won't be chanting GO FUCKING BLUE...

Actually, there were a few comments. Very few. You missed them, or are you just playing the SEC ballsucking homer role to perfection?

I did watch some parts, while flipping back and forth from LSU-Auburn and Wake Forest-FSU.... and the Weather Channel during commercials.

It wasn't a good game to any objective observer, except maybe SEC Ballsucking Homer.

Congrats on beating up on the Little Merciful Sisters of the Poor convent. Sister Theresa would be proud.

Most poll votes come from east of the Mississippi. Drunk Erickson once had great success coaching east of the Mississippi. Therefore, eastern pollsters figured that Drunk's team MUST be good, since they don't actually follow any football west of the Rockies unless the letters USC are involved.

The eastern pollsters were flat wrong with their guess. And even after doing it all of last season, they still didn't correct their mistake.

ASU sucks huge donkey balls. They're nowhere near the top of what is a very weak conference this year. Just because they're going to feast on the crap that is Wazzu, UDub, Zona, and OS, it doesn't make them good by default.

You never need to talk again, shithead.

I'd like too see an SEC - Big XII challenge someday soon. How do these match-ups look?

Oklahoma vs. LSU
Texas vs. Georgia
Mizzou vs. Florida
Okie St. vs. Alabama
Taco Tech vs. Auburn
Nebraska vs. Tennessee
Kansas vs. err, nobody gives a fuck about Kansas

I'd frigging pay to watch any one or all of those games.

Has the SEC beaten any "good" teams out of conference this year ???

Just wondering...

CAL was a very good football team on that particular day. They usually are at home.

That would be great! Love to see something like that done.
Oklahoma already has series scheduled with Tennessee (2014 in Norman, 2015 in Knoxville) and LSU (2018 & 2019 but no determination on which is home and away yet).

Also have series with Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and the completion of the Miami series in Miami upcoming next season. The AD tries to keep at least one marque OCC game a season on the schedule (sup SEC). This year it didn't work out since Clemsucks backed out on a series a couple of years ago which we replaced with Mid Tenn State who also later backed out and we got stuck opening the season with Chattanooga.
