Trolling around some of the huskerboards after the game was freaking hilarious. I was reading stuff like "wah, they ran up the score" when Mizzou had taken out the skill players before the 4th qtr. even started, and "wait until they have to play Oklahoma, then I hope they get their ass kicked". As if they wanted and needed their Sooner Big Brother to come stand up for them against those darn meanies from Columbia.

Some myopic, whining bitches those homer boards contain. No offense to the classy Husker fans here, but that wasn't a game, it was an execution.

mizzou didnt even try to score in the 4th

imagine what a jerkoff like Leach will do to Pelini and his pink shirts. he wont let up. hell run it to 6-, 70, he doesnt care

rumor is, its #93 from nebraska, and the Big12 called Daniel, and he said he won't rat on anyone, they settled it on the field. dont know why he even mentioned it then, they also, said, during warmups, nubs were over throwing balls and nearly hitting daniel and the Qb's. purposely throwing wild to hit him. who knows.

mizzou dominated 1st and 2nd downs on defense, then went into a stupid pick us apart zone. it was annoying to say the least.
take away that last drive for nubs, and they have what, 30 yards rushing??? Eberflus schemes are weak as shit.

if you want to watch teams go down the field, better tune into espn saturday. Okie st and Mizzou will light the board up.

Pinkel needs to sell someone a bill of goods on the overall MU program success and, in the off-season, farm out Eberflus to some harmless mid-major HC job and hire a real DC.

hopefully that works for Dave christiansen, eberflus wont be fired,

Alden wanted eberflus and Dave c fired, but Pinkel put his neck out for them. so they arent going anywhere unless its to another HC job or following PInkel to Washington.

every coach has their career job, and Pinkels would be Washington. He has ties, was 2nd on list to the weisel for the gig last time. he loses a ton of talent so it would be the best time to leave if i was him. im not saying hes leaving, but if he leaves, it will be for Husky gig.

who knows, after recent changes by pinkel, it was clear, his assistants were his weakness, not his coaching, hes an average coach, but not a prick like he used to be. Fuck, after fading to end each season, he would always blame the players and then there would always be a claim of a cancer in locker room, all bullshit. Aaron Oneils death and team captains telling him to change his ways, kinda put him in a better place, and hes learned how to be a better HC. But is assts are still his weakness.

rack the Missouri crowd, getting the MIZ ZOU chant going at lincoln, it was clear and loud as hell during the game.

its a shame Pinkel didnt run it up, if there was a team who loved to put it on teams, it was nebraska.

okie st is like playing a Texas Tech who can run the ball effectively

they cant stop anyone with a decent offense. but mizzou can at least make 3 stops, and thus wins by 10+

i think you'll win (esp. since it's in Columbia) but there are gonna be some points scored. and if MU is huffing around campus living fat off beating NU....Cowboys may make you work for it.

its a definite trap game, with Tejas being next week.

but team is rolling, the offense is on a roll, they have yet to have a 3 and out. daniel still hasnt really used the long ball.

i think gundy tries to blitz, cause he's a man n all, and they get torched. mizzou will give up points to okie st, no one will shut them completely down. and their TE is very good. but their defense is horrid. they dont stop teams

Didn't he just sign a new contract paying him major bucks? 3rd highest paid coach in the XII, iirc.

Besides, he'd be crazy to leave anytime soon. Mizzou has established solid recruiting pipelines out of both KC and STL areas. He's not losing those blue chippers nearly as much anymore.

I think he'll stay for awhile.

next year will be a 3-4 loss season

they have no proven QB. gabbert has looked mediocre throwing, and the other 2 qbs will be true freshman. plus, pinkwl wont have gabbert throw while in games, he just hands off. not good for next season. he needs to be throwing every down in blow outs

they lose 3/4 of the defense
they lose maclin, coffman, saunders, daniel, couple lineman. that is a ton. they will fal lback a tad. and make another big run in '10-11. they still should be favs for North, but it will be a claw for it title.

#93 for nebraska is ths spitter

Weatherspoon told maurice drummond(local fox news sports guy) that he wont name names, but his numbers started with an 9 and ended with a 3. weatherspoon denies telling Maurice that, but others have come forward and said they heard Sppon tell maurice the number of player.

if your a shit defense, shit team, why would you try to stir the other team on. if it wasnt for Pelini trying to run the clock out by running the ball every down, while down 30, and Pinkel calling the dogs off to start the 4th, it could of been 70 or more.

Pass pro is OK, though if Lucky isn't in we don't pick-up blitzes well.

We can't knock anyone off the ball when it comes to run-blocking, we've only gotten the run going against freaking New Mexico State. We made a bad decision and shirted juco Ricky Henry, about the only o-lineman with attitude and physicality.

I don't know what to expect in Ames right now. The Tech-game should be a good barometer of where we are heading. A trainwreck and ISU is seeing an imploded mess that has packed it in like in '07. If we show something(not win just start getting our shit together) then maybe we come into Ames with some steam.

While I'm certainly not happy with what transpired Saturday I like the way Bo has handled it, he's taken the blame on himself and the staff. Team morale and confidence is shaky enough without the coach throwing players under the bus.

I'm not sure what will come from "spitgate", rumor is it was Suh but Daniels doesn't want to be a snitch.

Papa Willie wrote: I'm thinking this - OU, Missouri, and Texas are pretty good (TT seems to have a decent offense), but the rest of the Big 12 is beyond awful. Beating teams in your own conference by 40 points every game doesn't exactly make the rest of them look very good.......
You have a point, 'spray. The bottom half of the XII sucks monkey cack.

But I'd match the top half against the best of the SEC, and the XII would go 6-0 and outscore your inbred conference about 240 to 90.

Or are you more about "our shit teams are better than your shit teams? :)
