Northwestern will beat MSU. Everything is set up in their favor for a win at their house on Saturday.
First, to get the obvious one out of the way: MSU always struggles vs Northwestern.
2. Northwestern is coming off a bye week, so extra rest and extra time to prepare.
3. MSU got banged up pretty good in the Iowa game. The MSU d-line and LBs broke down quite a bit going against Shonn Greene, forcing the MSU secondary to make plays against the run. They made all the key stops, but got pretty banged up in the process. State lost Chris L Rucker, their best cover guy, which blows since the secondary will need ALL the help they can get going against a pass happy N'western team that routinely shreds them. The good news is MSU gets back safety Kendall Davis Clark who got hurt in the CAL game, and he can play pretty much any position back there. There were quite a few other guys that got banged up pretty good and won't be 100%. Of course you expect this during conference play, but considering Northwestern will have had that extra week to rest, well, this could be trouble.
4. MSU is ranked. If history is any indication, then we all know what happens when MSU comes out the gates firing and creeps into the polls in late september/early october...the implosion. Many seem to believe Dantonio has instilled a new attitude, and gone are the days of "same old Michigan State." While I agree to an extent, I will have to see it to truly buy into it.
I realize most of you don't give a shite about this game, but eh, it's Tuesday and another slow work day...

Not so fast... my friend.
I had and still have you guys going into the Ohio State game at 6-1.... along with a 6-1 Ohio State team.
Both of you guys better not fuck it up. I've come to far... and I'm still on course from my prediction at the beginning of the season.
Keep your head up.... you guys can still lose after the Ohio State game.
Keep the faith.
the truth

Where did I say I was "so good?" My feelings about this game have nothing to do with how "good" I think I am at picking games in general. It has to do with how competitively NU has played MSU in the past, and due to the myriad factors that are stacked in NU's favor on Saturday.

At least JSC's posts are something in the hemisphere of English. Yours resemble a hybrid of a 12-year old text messaging, Polish and flat out dumbfuckery.Adelpiero wrote:cmon mgo

Northwestern v. MSU...I'd watch that game if given an opportunity. I have enjoyed the matchup in the past. I remember the game a few years back where Babs' love interest Chuckie Rogers kept running back KO after KO. I think the score ended like 51-50 after 17,876 OTs...
If MSU ever ever gets a stop on defense, they'll be tough to beat.

As of right now there's about a 90% chance I'll be at the game. PET to follow.

PSUFAN doesn't have ESPN2? The economy must be even worse than I thought.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:ESPN2.Goober McTuber wrote:Should be on the Big 10 Network.PSUFAN wrote:Northwestern v. MSU...I'd watch that game if given an opportunity.

Thanks - actually, I refer to my own schedule. Lusty Mrs. PSUFAN and the hungry little PSUFANlings can be held at bay for the duration of one (1) 3.5 hour interval on any given Saturday. This Saturday, it will be for our game, you FUCKING BADGER TOOL.
Sig bet? Help me ditch the one I have now, please...

EAD, addledPuto. We'll claw-fuck you in your turn. In the meantime, lilypad-leap your way through the tissue-thin Big 12.
Goobs, did you think this was a "post your lipstick-colored ride" thread? It will be a pleasure to see your team limp back into the locker room to suckle each other back into health and suck the broken off plunger handles from each others' action tunnels.

Sure feels good to be wrong about that one.
