Post by no-F-N-Joke »

Come on Barrack, tell us you didn't know she had said this too.
While Obama's association with William Ayers has gained the most attention, we shouldn't forget that Ayers' wife is a special piece of work as well. She too was a terrorist with the Weather Underground. We can probably get a good taste of her character when she actually celebrated the Manson Family slaughter at the house of actress Sharon Tate.

"Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in their bellies. Wild!"
Oh yeah.. Sharon Tate was eight months pregnant when Obama's friends of friends cut open her stomach. Maybe this is why the left loves to support killing the unborn, Dig it?

<pic removed>
I wonder how Obama feels when he looks at this photo? Would he Image it?

Like a typical leftie. If they can't handle the truth, they put you on the ignore list. Good.. then we won't have to worry about his hatred infecting any of our factual threads. If I smoked pot I'd take a hit right now. But I don't, so I'm going to go take a swig out of the milk jug.

No, dumbfucks posting gore without the proper tags.

BTW, I wonder what would happen if our associations on this board ever became campaign fodder for the future. Near as I can tell, you've "consorted with" cross dressers, pill addicts, methheads and lunatic fringe types of all different stripes. And tell me there isn't a single poster here aside from maybe Ang who hasn't laughed at the fatal misfortune of others on this very board.

Sorry Tom, these tactics are not only beyond the pale, they are an act of total and complete desperation. There is only one response decent people should have to these tactics of fear, division and hate, and that is unflinching condemnation. For you to even so much as give this kind of tactic even the slightest bit of endorsement only serves to diminish my opinion of you.

BSmack is right in the sense of not properly tagging this thread with a warning of Gore.

He is also correct, IMHO, that "There is only one response decent people should have to these tactics of fear, division and hate, and that is unflinching condemnation."

I agree. The unfortunate truth is that is the keystone of many political strategies. Both Dem and Republican. I am biased at times, try not to be, but I am and I view the Democrats as using this more often than Republicans. But in truth they both do. The Republicans do it along different lines. The Dems constantly use race, sex and class.

All that being said. Questioning, documenting and understanding Obama's relationship with left wing radicals AND what those left wing radicals stand for and did IS NOT out of line. Present the truth, the facts, and let America decide. Had Timothy McVeigh gotten off on a technicality anyone with ties to him who might run for office would receive scrutiny. As well it should.

Well if you're going to bring Manson into it let's remember that the prosecutor who put Manson and his crew away has penned a book.

Image

The same Bush that McCain endorced twice and the same Bush who now endorses McCain. And yes, McCain and this Bush person have sat down to a dinner or two I'm pretty sure.

And Tom, I respect you as a poster here, but you might want to back off this topic too since I believe you probably voted for this Bush person, twice. The same person that Manson's prosecutor believes should be tried for murder.

Q,

Feeling is quite mutual. I am intrigued by this book. I also think it is comparing apples to oranges. Prosecuting Bush for "murder" in holding him accountable for the dead soldiers in Iraq vs. examining the past history and connections of left wing terrorists to a man running for President ?

Both are fair game - if the facts support the case - in the realm of public discourse in my opinion. But Bush is going bye bye, I think the new guy coming in (Obama) is a much more critical issue.

I learned much of Bush after he was elected. I did not want to vote for him in 2000. Subsequent to his election the more I learned, the more interested I became in his family ties and affilations. Quite shady if you ask me. But a shadiness that some might deem necessary as it relates to competition for natural resources. It's a nasty world out there, filled with nasty people, because there are nasty people being nasty to those nasty people .... my life and behavior can be less nasty.

I don't necessarily mind that Obama has ties to Ayers as much as mind the muzzle on it and underplaying of it. Just as I believed Bush and Co should just sack up and say this "vital region" = "natural resources YOU depend on right now" as opposed to bullshit "Axis of Evil" crap. I'd like to hear Obama explain his passion for associating with Freedom Fighters. Remember one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

The sixties/seventies were a violent time. KKK types bombing churches, Ayers types bombing recruiting stations etc.. etc.. billy clubs and riots.

If Obama viewed these folks as "Freedom Fighters" I think he should have the balls and say so. Clearly he viewed them as such, in my opinion.

BTW: Check out FromTheWilderness and google Mark Ruppert for some juicy shit. Of course Moby's post a couple of weeks ago is also really entertaining. Some video about the Freemasons, Illuminati and New World Order stuff.

I'm fascinated by that shit. Whether it's confluence of events that make it appear like a conspiracy, a wacky conspiracy, or a real conspiracy it's interesting stuff. Especially after what's gone on the past several weeks.

Obama is a "made man". But if they're prosecuting Bush for getting soldiers killed. Watch out Obama, he's gonna get some killed. Potentially more than Bush as Africa heats up and depending on how Iran plays ball.

~ In a radio interview with Philadelphia talkshow host Michael Smerconish, Sen. Obama said he “had assumed” that the 60s radical had been rehabilitated because Mr. Ayers and his terrorist-wife Bernardine Dorhn were working as university professors when they helped him launch his political career in their home.
“It never occurred to me,” said Sen. Obama, “that a university professor could be an America-hater who was actively working to bring down the U.S. government.”
~

I guess we're supposed to think that it never crossed B.O.'s mind to ... ask ... these people if they had been 'rehabilitated' ... or if they were still America-haters who wanted to bring down the government.

lol

Very much like how B.O. was ... somehow ... oblivious to the fact that his bestest buddy of 20 years is a racist America-hating shit-stain.

Damn, this guy sure is good at playing "Don't mind me, I'm just a complete dumbfuck" when it suits his needs.

Ayers and the Weather Underground was an organization that used bombs to get their point across. While the acts were committed when Obama was 9, his alliance and affiliation with Ayers is quite recent. I have every right in the world to know the depth of Obama's relationship with Ayers and whether or not Obama agrees with Ayers idealogies. Afterall, he's asking for my vote too you know.

If you want to know the depth of his "relationship" with Ayers, it's been examined over and over in the press ever since the Democratic primaries. If you have something that the rest of us don't know about why don't you spit it out?

Nobody is melting here except you and vast numbers of Obama supporters. You melt when we call Ayers a terrorist, you melt when we call Ayers a "Freedom Fighter".

What is he ? You would like me to believe he is a benevolent English Professor only. I'm not buying that.

Again.

Is it okay to use bombs to get your point across ? If it is, then why is asking Obama about his relationship with a "bomber" so out of line ?

It's not. Stop hyperventilating and try to look at this objectively.

P.S. Yes, I chose the words "Freedom Fighter". One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. I specified as such in the original post.

Not entirely. McVeigh and Nichols have/had their sympathizers as do the Unabombers and Eric Rudolphs of the U.S. We've always had domestic terrorists who some perceived as "Freedom Fighters".

I'm not villifying Ayers, I don't agree with villifying Ayers - at least not yet - but I would like the same amount of scrutiny placed upon a candidate for President who has connections to Ayers as there would be:

1. Any Federal employee or contractor trying to get a security clearance.
2. Any other candidate for the head of the executive branch.

Let's face facts, this country among the others in the world, is violent. We use violence as a means. It's human nature.

I don't have a problem with that. It's as human as taking a shit. I'm not as concerned about the methods as much as the idealogies. Does he share the same idealogies as Ayers ? The bitching and complaining about people bringing Ayers up is simply just a smoke screen to deflect away from the substance - if any exists - of Barack Obama.

Why do you accuse anybody who challenges your assumptions of "hyperventilating"?

You might want to try stepping up to a mirror sometime, Tom.

There's plenty of information out there regarding Obama's "relationship" with Ayers, and Obama has repudiated Ayers' actions on more than one occasion.

If you had half a brain in your hyperventilating head you would type "Obama Ayers relationship" into Google and see that even fair and balanced FOX News was looking into it as far back as April and couln't come up with anything to hang Obama with. I guess you won't be satisfied until somebody confirms that Obama was actually a card carrying member of the Sons of the Weathermen or something, eh?

I don't care if you or anybody else brings it up every day from now until eternity. You're only making youself look like a "hyperventilating" moron. Research it yourself you pathetic fucking handwringer.

Not sure where the quote originated. Just heard it thrown about. Variations include "One man's terrorist is another man's revolutionary".
