I just missed getting 8 by a 1/2 point in the Illinois-Iowa game but I would've still lost to Willie in the tiebreaker. Props to P-Dub...

I'm glad I picked the games that I did for our game because I went 12-24 in the other 36 games this week. I actually switched a few picks in the morning and it got me three wins...I had Michigan, Notre Dame and Washington and wisely changed over to other games.

Interesting. I may have to pick the other games on the sheet for the hell of it and see how I do. I always go through the sheet and mark the games I think about picking, usually ending up with 12-14 games, then narrow it down from there.

Ok, so a big FUCK YOU to other 3 teams I picked and lost with. LSU (lost that by 1/2 point), Troy (flat out losing to Louisiana-Monroe, assholes) and Navy (lost that by 1 1/2 points).

And yeah, I saw that Crespi got butt-fucked in the mouth by ND... :x

It's a sound way of going at it...I recommend it if you have the time to go through and do a little research and dig into every game a little to see if some games make more sense than others. It's the math/computer nerd and wannabe engineer in me trying to find a more scientific way of picking winners in games when most just go with their gut. My gut got me a bad start to the season so I had to change things up.

It always me to look at some of the lesser name teams and see what they've been up to. I can't keep picking just games out of the BCS conferences and hope for the best. There are some solid plays around the country if you dig deep enough. I've done this for three weeks. I've gone 17-13 in the Pickem contest and 68-73 (51-60 in the non-Pickem games). I wouldn't dare to go my picks on every game but I think I'm doing okay with picking the right games.

I hope the last few weeks I can pull some 7s and 8s get in as at large because you can't control when someone is going to go 10 for 10 or 9-1 in a week. You just have to post your best score and hope it holds up. I definitely can't do what I did last week and drop a 3...the worst score since I started the season with a 2 and 3 the first two weeks.

If I or any of you tried, you could not carefully select ten games and score a ZERO!

Are you kidding me?!?!

I stopped looking after I lost UM and MSU. Then I knew I lost on Texas, but I figured I'd get my standard 5.

Rack my skills bitches. Look for my locks next week.
