I know that, you know that. But some people might not. Dealing in the realm of "feelings" is always subjective. While you weren't intimidated by that ex-marine dude, somebody else might be. As in the case of this dude, somebody might have been intimidated.

Further, did the marine tell you he was "security" ? This guy said he was "security", he also brandished what could be used as a weapon. The fact that he implied a purpose of authority begs the question.

Who is using the Black Panthers as a sanctioned security force at an election polling establishment ? That is tantamount to using the KKK as a security force.

Or even, the Hells Angels to do security at a music festival like Altamont.

Nobody is using the Black Panters as security. Did you bother to even look up anything about the story? The cops were called on him, they came and took away his stick. I actually had no trouble with your opinions until now. Do some history on voter intimidation in Philadelphia before you attempt to defend this type of shit. Philadelphia has a rich and well documented history of voter fraud and intimidation.

In a predominantly black neighborhood, I seriously doubt the presence of Black Panther members at a polling station would be construed by the residents of said neighborhood as intimidating. As the following video demonstrates.

Notice the white girl nonchalantly talking on the phone throughout the video. Boy, she sure looked intimidated.
