Colder weather could make recruiting harder but you could say the same thing with football. Both are played outdoors and when it gets too cold, becomes a bitch to play in.

What D2 conference did you ump for? MIAA? I know the have Pittsburg State, NW Missouri St, and some others in the Missouri area

Football supposed to be played in the cold...at least in the northern states....and it does make recruiting difficult when going after someone from a warm weather climate.

So it is the same with baseball. Northern schools go after more Northern players because they are use to playing in the cold.

I am sure you lose some players to warmer climates in both sports.
