Just saw an analysis on Yahoo that suggests that if OU beats Mizzou (expected), and Florida beats 'Bama, Florida could still be frozen out of the championship because of SOS (their computer average is quite low), leaving a UT-OU rematch. Even though it would mean Mack Brown would get his way, I'd kinda like to see that because it would render the BCS even more meaningless than ever.
You know, as much as I despise them, U$C should be in this discussion. Why aren't they? Simple: they're a west coast team. I'd LOVE to see that defense go against any of the so-called top 4 teams right now.

Florida scheduling that poor OOC late in season was their own fault. They can't blame anyone but themselves. They should of lost pts with voters for that debacle.
leave your home state for christs sake for OOC games, i realize for SEC teams, this is hard, but if you schedule these games and refuse to travel, your going to get screwd!

Papa Willie wrote:USC is being hurt because their SOS is shit - playing in a horrible conference will do that. As pathetic as it was for UF to schedule the Citadel that late - the Citadel is still a better team than Washington & Washington State. That's just a fucking fact.
If auburn played in the pac 10.... they'd end up behind Washington and it'd have to be called the Pac 11.
When was the LAST time an east coast team played at "midnight" and flew in the same day after traveling 8,000 miles in the same week ?
Funny, I don't remember any of these concerns/excuses out of you BEFORE the game was played.
Back to Florida - I could see them getting left out, but if they beat Bama, I wouldn't count on it. It seems like UF has been at that 4 spot for quite some time. Might wanna start jumping some people. Perhaps UF didn't expect the SEC to be so down this year, otherwise, The Citadel might've seemed like a fine choice.
I actually thought the BCS had it all right but I'm glad m2 is here to say it's not so and as well as sprinkle in some random pictures of the Bay Area because I wasn't aware of that he lives there. It's all clear now...
