Would a 20 mm round do much to a WWII vintage tank? Maybe knock a tread off? I doubt they had depleted uranium shells back then.

And yet, our fair board has not been blessed with you joining said ranks of military members lopping their own domes. Not to mention the fact the rate of servicemen blowing their heads off was increasing at a record rate way before Onogga took over.Toddowen wrote:It's no wonder that the suicide rate in the military has spiked along with the inauguration of our new C in C.

...from someone in the know...rack mvscal
The gun is a 20mm cannon from Finland. It's a WWII era piece called the L 39 (Lahti). Basically it's a Finnish WWII vintage 20mm anti-tank rifle. Very obscure weapon with no real function for a single person/soldier. If the guy in the picture tried to shoot it it would probably tear his arm clean off just from recoil. Being from Finland, the skids you see on it were to help with toting the weapon around. They acted as skis and you dragged the gun by a chain or rope. They would also make it a pain in the ass to shoot in the snow.
Imagine laying prone in the snow and shooting that thing! The skis would allow the whole weapon to fly right back at you at full speed. Ouch!
So, basically, yeah it's a redneck tool.
