COME ON MIZZOU!

Mizzou causing some turnovers and hanging in there. They gotta find a way to hang within 4-6 points and they could pull it out.

Mizzou played a hell of game. I had a feeling UConn would struggle a bit with their D. Mizzou will be a team to watch next season.

Great game, UConn.

Just too strong inside for a gutsy Mizzou team that wasn't hitting the 3-pointers today like they normally do. When it was 13-2 only 2 minutes into the game, it looked like a blow-out was going to happen, so I'm glad they came back and made it respectable.

Villanova-Pit, wow. This is just an awesomely entertaining game. Back and forth. I hadn't watched 'nova until now. I will have to say that yes indeed, The Big East is all that.

Now THIS is a basketball game. What a possession for possession dogfight. I think Pitt will get it done.

Fitting ending to a fabulously played game. Shades of Tyus Edney all over again and I'm sure the pundits will be referring to that episode.

Rack Villanova.

It's a shame a game like that was only to get to the Final 4. That had the intensity of a championship game. Though I'm not a 'Nova grad, I am a graduate of a school from the Big 5 in Philly and all of us are pulling for the Cats.

Damn, another choke job by Pitt in the tourney. Lost to a damn fine team though, so I guess I can't call it too much of a choke. Nova may be playing the best ball in the tournament right now.

That was no choke job, far from it. It was Nova who almost choked the game away on that homerun pass that got away.

I didn't mean choke within the context of that game, just another failure to beat a lower seeded team in the tourney. At least they made it outta the Sweet 16 this time.

Agreed. Such an entertaining game. Tough to see someone lose it, but 'Nova deserved it.

I had Villanova in the FF. Rack the Cats, rack the Big 5 and rack the Big East.

DC needs its own version of the Big 5 immediately and it is a shame we don't have that.

It was even better in person. 8)

Anyways...

Good game yesterday, Wags... the Boston Beer Works crowd was definitely pro Mizzou. If a couple of those Tiger shots that were halfway down the cylinder and rolled out... went in? How many times did that happen? Four?

Watching UConn advance to the FF in "hostile territory" (BC fan is real tough :meds: ) and then heading up the street to the Garden to watch a fucking amazing game... sweet day. I hope today's games are just as good as yesterday's.

I'm just hoping for some good games today. I don't think OU or MSU will allow themselves to get rolled. The first 5-7 minutes will be telling for MSU. If they get down by double digits early, then goodnight. Game over.

Yeah, I was kinda' surprised how pro Mizzou the crowd was.

And yes, so many shots in and out, I was tearing my hair out over here. But no excuses, UConn was obviously the better team. Nice job from the foul line, over 80%. That was a killer.

The thing that was most encouraging for Tigerfan was that when they made that run and briefly took the lead, all the seniors were on the bench. That bodes well for next year, no doubt.

After seeing Louisvilles punk act of running up the score on a helpless Arizona team, I'm a big time Spartan fan today. That, and dear God and GOD I don't want to listen to all the ESPN jerkoffs drooling all over themselves, gushing about the Big East.

That said, I think they're too good and will roll MSU. I hope I'm wrong.

As for OU and NC, this should be a close game all the way. If Crocker and Warren can hit some 3's, I like the Sooners chances. And also dear God and GOD, I don't want to see ESPN gushing over Huckleberry Hound either.

over/under on the network playing up the Jeff Capel/former Duke player vs. Carolina angle.....at about 3655.

It will all come down to tempo. MSU can play a fast break game, but they don't want to get into that with L'ville for 40 minutes because of their propensity to turn the ball over. The key will be to force L'ville to play their style and keep the scoring for both teams in the 60s. MSU is 27-0 when they hold opponents under 70. That'll be the key, but obviously easier said than done.

Pace of play favors Michigan State. Louisville has to force the pace in the second half.

Michigan State deserves it. They played with more heart, they hustled more, and they hit the big shots and made their free throws.

That's the karma those L-ville punks get for hanging a hundy on a hapless 'zona team, barely broke fifty in their next game.

Never cared much about MSU one way or the other, but after knocking off the Jaycocks and now these bitches in back to back games, what's not to like?

Loved the second half effort. That was pretty much MSU b-ball. Wasn't pretty, but got the opposition to play their game.

Suton vs. Thabeet is the most intriguing matchup...how well does Thabeet handle a big man that can play away from the basket? It'll also be a great matchup of two teams that rebound exceptionally well. UConn has the better front court but Suton is playing great at the right time.

In that second today, I'd love to see Griffin manhandle Pscyho T. I think the Heels have too many scorers though...they should prevail in the end.

Somebody needs to take some of the heat off Griffin...he's not going to get them back in this game on his own. Plus, they can't stop the Heels on the other end of the floor. They could use a nice 6 or 8 point to make this tight before too long. Trading hoops down 10 or 12 points isn't going to cut into that lead.

no answer for Lawson's penetration...and outside Warren (in the 2nd half) no production from the guard positions.

oh well. great season, though.

Either Griffin was showing disappointment for losing or he had the look of a guy that played his last college game. That cat is the #1 pick if he wants to leave but he'd be awesome to watch another year in college. He's only going to get better and stronger...

Nice Final Four shaping up...UNC-'Nova and UConn-MSU.

Nice reach: Lansing is automatically associated with the Big Three. News flash to the dumbfuck who chose to reside in Alaska and therefore has no credibility when it comes to locale smack: Michigan, outside of metro Detroit, has little to do with the auto industry.

And like Saban chose Tuscaloosa over EL for "quality of life issues." He chose to live there because, much like your wife and mother, he is a huge, cock-sucking and money-grubbing whore. And I would hope he'd drive a Benz if he was making that much.

You have to be a shit-pushing loser to take a photo of Saban's car because "Hey, look, that's Saban's car in his parking lot." I bet you got a real adrenaline rush out of that, didn't you? Fuckign hick.
