Not quite ready for the death bed yet, but yes, on Wednesday I had another back surgery. Some screws came loose from last year's back surgery, so they were going to do something called a 360 revision and then replace those screws, like this:



What made the operation special is that they had to go through my gut and my back, right now I have at least 30 staples in front and 19 in the back. Once they got in there, however, they realized they needed to do another fusion at L3-L4, so what was supposed to be a 3.5 hour procedure lasted more than 6 hours.

There were some rather difficult moments in the hospital, and those were made easier by the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff at the NeuroMedical Center. I'll never be able to thank them enough.

For the rest of the week, I have a sitter with me at home, her name is Juanita and she is a very nice lady.

What does any of this have to do with the next ten pages of TVO/Van tedium?
