Floyd was better than .500 as a college coach. the fact he chose to take the Chi Bulls job after Phil and Jordan was weird, to say the least. he had a couple good teams at Iowa State.

O'Neill is a sub .500 coach.

Floyd is a very good college coach and recruiter. Brought Marcus Fizer to Iowa State. Had 3 straight 20+ win seasons there and also made it to the NCAA Tournament in 3 straight years at a football school (USC).

Best they could have gotten considering their situation. Why would any big name coach want to take on this mess?

he's a sub .500 coach at places where people have won before and since: Marquette, Tennessee, U of A.

i think they could have done better. it's a tough time to be hiring, sure; but losing all your recruits doesn't speak a lot to the hire.

but, i guess Lil Romeo is still ready to ball.

I'm not a big fan of Kevin O'Neill. I know USC isn't exactly a plum job under the best of circumstances which these most certainly are not.......but O'Neill is a marginal hire at best.
