I'll be amazed if Denver can field an punt return team

forget that I said they'd win at least three, they'll be lucky to beat anybody this year...what a fucking disasterous start to what will probably be a short term as head coach.....

I hope I'm wrong, but I fear I'm not....

Felix is right.

Dungver will be dead last in the AFC West and drafting in the top 5 next year.

behind every dark cloud, there is a silver lining....shit, we may challenge Detroit for futility this year...especially when they deal Brandon Marshall

seriously, if I didn't know better, I'd swear some other team had planted McDaniels in order to sabotage the team....unless Knowshon can rush for 3,000 yards, we're in big fucking trouble

Long-term, it might be a good idea to dump Marshall, actually.

He's one dipshit that really doesn't get it.

I think he's gonna be a big headache for someone in the future, as if he hasn't already been.

But it hurts, production-wise, for your offense if you lose him, seeing as he really IS the best playmaker you've got.

If I didn't know better, I would think Denver was purposely trying to see if they could have THE worst off-season in NFL history.

I think the Rat is going to be silently snickering to himself somewhere this year as he watches the unfolding debacle.

Btw, where will Rat land in '10?

Marshall carries a lot of baggage, but fuck that guy is a stud player....without a top flite receiver, Orton will be pining for -24 degree days and being booed mercilessly in Chicago....seriously, Denver fans are among the worst in the league when it comes to losing

bullshit, he's laughing his ass off in private, but publicly he won't say a word.....he and Bowlen are still friends...Shanny knows the pressure came from the fans and Bowlen had to do something....the Broncos were simply stagnant....something tells me the die hard denver fans will be longing for the days of 8-8

don't know where Shanny will end up, but it won't be anywhere in the AFC West

If Dallas has another season like years past (no playoff wins), than I DEFINTELY see a marquee coach coming to Dallas. Whether its Rat or Cowher, it will be one of the best. To have this kind of talent and not do jack squat is embarrasing. Plus, I would love to see what Rat can do to improve Romo as a QB. Also, I wouldn't mind keeping Bum's son as DC. That would be a pretty sweet deal, although I'm sure Wade would be pissed that Rat replaced him again.

I'd like to see him wind up at ND, but I doubt it'll happen.

that would be a GIANT STEP backwards and Shannahan is not the type to go in reverse....actually, now that DF mentioned it, Dallas does seem like a natural landing place

I'm still in mourning from the loss of Jay Cutler. I'm going to miss him so much this year.

not me....he actually had some talent (although he was a jagoff) and his presence could have adversely affected the Broncos positioning in the race for next years top draft seeding....now, all McDaniels needs to seal the deal is to dump Marshall, then trade away Bailey and his work will be done

Cutler wasn't as good as Cutler thought he was. Good QB's/leaders don't meltdown, pout and hold grudges over rival QB's. Anything is an improvement for Denver. They had no choice but to start over. So, you're right. Might as well get rid of the other bad seeds and let McDaniels do things another way, since what they were doing before wasn't working.

I'm still going to miss Cutler tremendously. I can always tune in and watch him get booed in Chicago, that might be fun.

Orton might do ok for a team if he has an excellent cast of playmakers around him ... so that he's rarely in a position to need to try to win games with his own game.

Hell, the only reason the Mules did reasonable well last year was because dumb@ss Cuntler could make plays in the passing game.

Orton isn't going to do squat.

Bad times ahead.

Honestly, I don't even drink. So, no.

As long as Kyle doesn't annoint himself the next John Elway, he will be an improvement over Cuddler. But your team is still very much f'ed.

Chucky's now in the MNF booth. That should pay him at least as well as the ND job. It's also far cushier, and I daresay, easier.

The only way Chucky lands at ND is if he either really, really wants the ND job, or he sucks in the booth. And even then, going there now wouldn't be the same thing as if he had gone there in 2001, or 2004. The bloom is off that particular rose, as far as coaching goes, just a bit.

LMFAO

I could watch that video 100 more times and still laff harder with each viewing.

Marshall walking through drills.
Marshall swatting the ball to the ground in a pass-catching drill.
Marshall punting the ball away instead of handing to the ball boy.

LMAO LMAO

And clueless McDaniels tight-lipping it like a petulant 9 yr old when the media just asks, ummm .. "What the fuck is up with this, coach?"
