Hey Vannie...

Post by Blueblood »

It's starting to get ugly with all the PAC 10 insiders going with Cal. Sure, the talking heads around the country are taking $C... but, the people that follow the PAC 10 won't play that game.

http://www.bustersports.com/blog/pac-10 ... c-10-pick/

Here my ballot, 1 through 10: Nick Daschel

1. California: The Bears have two stallions at running back, an experienced quarterback, a secondary that is as good as it gets and only a few concerns. Playing Oregon and USC early in the season is a good thing.

2. USC: If all things were equal, USC would be the pick. But it’s not equal. The Trojans have a terribly brutal schedule, playing six of their first nine on the road. Despite what people think, USC isn’t an NFL team. The schedule matters.

3. Arizona State: The Sun Devils have a great Pac-10 schedule and should start league 3-0. An emerging defense gives ASU a chance to become the Pac-10’s surprise team.

4. Oregon: Not sure what all the hoo-hah is about the Ducks. Love their quarterback, think LeGarrette Blount could be a Corey Dillon-type running back, and Ed Dickson is a nice target at tight end. But Oregon really has some proving to do on both sides of the line, as well as other areas. One team I’d like to project after the opener at Boise State.

5. Oregon State: See the Beavers as a second or third-place team from a talent standpoint, but that schedule is ridiculous. Road games at USC, Oregon, California and Arizona State?

6. UCLA: I’m bracing for a surprise from the Bruins because of their defense, but can’t pull the trigger on projecting a higher finish until that offense shows me something.

7. Stanford: Like UCLA, capable of more than a seventh place finish. Think the Cardinal have the goods on offense, but it’ll have to toughen up on defense to crack the top five in 2009.

8. Washington: A healthy Jake Locker and renewed spirit may carry the Huskies to a few wins they haven’t been able to achieve in recent years.

9. Arizona: Another team that could finish much higher than this, but only if the quarterback position plays beyond its years.

10. Washington State: The easiest pick on the board. The Cougars are at least a year away from playing at a Pac-10 level, and probably more if they can’t stop the lawlessness.

I'm going to go ahead... and say you're intellectually on NOJ level.

Let me know where I've gone wrong ?

And I'll say that you're on Babs level as far as posting goes. I'll keep using you for a speed bag whenever I feel like it.

What, pussy? I didn't get in to ND, got into UofM and MSU. MSU was where I got the most money to go to school. Unlike your pussy ass, I stuck around and graduated.

And I don't back down and use my Fuzzy tail to cover my balls or run away when someone calls me out. I'm Ari Gold to your Adam Davies. That, was a bitch slap. A bitch slap, for a bitch.

You obviously weren't an "Architectural major".

It's the only thing I can think of that Notre Dame is good at.

Even though... their "Architectural classes" verge on mid-evil.
