What it your team's single most memorable play?
As I, Raider Fan, pondered this question, the very tragic could not be pushed aside.
Co-number one's are ...
and ...
If I don't want to cry in my beer, I'd pick from either Marcus Allen's career signature
run in Super Bowl XVIII or Jack Tatum's destruction of Sammy White in Super Bowl XI.
LOL at Skip Thomas trying to catch up to S. White on that play with a HUGE roundhouse
right arm hook that was going to take Sam's head off ... if good ol' Jack hadn't done so first.
Sammy made the catch.
Highly doubtful that he remembers it. haha

Honorable mentions go to Swann's insane circus catch in Super Bowl X and Antwann RandleEl's option pass to Hines Ward in Super Bowl XL.

Most memorable: <insert Barry jaw-dropping run montage here>
Least memorable: Favre to Sharpe in the wild card game at the Silverdome...how was he that wide open?
There are definitely full games jam-packed with awful moments. The Redskins crushing them in the NFC championship game left me in tears as a young lad.

Lots of 'joyous' memories for the Lions in the playoffs...just the one win against Dallas but then a lot of kicks in the junk.

not "a" play, but a series of plays that made Elway "The Man"

I've always thought it looked like D. Pearson was guilty of offensive pass interference on that play.DallasFanatic wrote:

Where the hell is Chef fan in this thread?
Once upon a time, KC fan had something to say.
Now they've resigned themselves to good little housebitch status -- sucking silently.
No Leonardo Dawson memory -- matriculating the ball down the field?
No Ed Podolak memory -- carving up the defense with his 4.8 forty speed?
No Lin Elliot memory -- dribbling THE clutch kick of his life off the side of his ... ankle?
Get fat@ss Paul back in here.
At least he's got somethin' to say.

Fuck a buncha' youtube links.
The memory that immediately comes to my mind is DT's 7 sack game against the Seahags... and the 8th one he barely missed that allowed Dave Krieg to beat us on a last second TD pass.
I don't even want to talk about the gut wrenching playoff losses in 1995, 1997, and 2003. Too painful. And I was all of 7 years old when the Chiefs won the SB... I barely even knew it had happened at the time.
Plenty of good memories, but they've always been overshadowed by some monumentally frustrating loss at the end.
Oh well, reckon I'll still be wearing RED on Sundays around here.

Fwiw, I didn't hate the Cowboys until Jerrah Jones bought the team. As I've said before, the league should have required him to move the franchise and change the team nickname, logo and colors, for all the resemblance they bore to the old-school Cowboys after that.DallasFanatic wrote:I hate you TerryTerry in Crapchester wrote:
