He and JLS were pretty bad in the player development category. People forget Devin Thomas was a relative nobody under JLS, relegated to special teams coverage for the most part. The only way Michigan or any Big Ten team should go to the west coast is if we get to pick the officials.

I wouldn't mind playing Pac10 teams in a home and home scenario....in another year or so. I liked when UM has played Washington, UCLA, Oregon in the past. Has UM fared well? Nope. But who gives a fuck! This is a new regime that needs to build the "anyone, anywhere, anytime" mentality. I would love to see UM play traditional powers like OU, Texas, LSU, bama, UF (they don't want us), etc. This probably won't happen before the ND contract ends, and maybe not even at that time, but as a fan I want my team in marquee matchups.
