T1B Radio

T1B will have an online radio station soon. In the meantime, we will post links to some radio shows. Tonight, Katy will roll some tunes. Normally, she just kicks it with some 80s music, but she will be playing tunes form all genres and decades. She will take requests via chat. She will make shoutouts via radio.

This radio experiment won't be an experiment for long. Katy is damn good at this radio thing. shutyomouth is too, and he even jams some with his guitar at times. The Deciders have said this is a good thing. We will even consider certain sports talk shows should some willing folk step forward to provide.

I will post instructions and links to the radio soon. It should be ready within a few minutes or so.

Does it have real voice capabilities or just posting music?

What are the possibilities of getting some sports related shows? We have some rather knowledgeable posters on numerous sports categories around here...

I can attest to it having real voice capabilities. It's pretty easy to set up. Basically, all you need to do is d/l winamp and a shoutcast plugin, enter some config values, dust off the PC mic, and you have everything you need.

It's extremely easy. Someone can be set up in a matter of minutes. If you have skype, YIM, etc., you can even take callers on your show. It would be nice to hear some real time sports takes/smack from some of the CFB guys.

Been away for awhile, but I would be happy to link our HS football games into the T1B Radio if there is any interest. We also do a call in show post game. No reason I can't stay longer and do a HS / College football show after.

All your officiating questions answered live, only one Cal was screwed call a week though.
