All they had to do was cover the ball and it would have been a cakewalk to the end.

I feel bad because they played their hearts out.

I'm pretty sure that what you're now experiencing is known as a hangover.

Even if he sat on the ball in the endzone the Pats had 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning. Possible they could have stopped them and gotten the ball back with like 1:30 left. Not a guarantee, but the possibility was there. Someone said that they think he tried to run it back to kill the 6 seconds and take it to the 2 minute warning. Sounds kinda smart, but you gotta hold onto the ball to make it work......

Trying to fight for a couple of extra yards was what was dumb. He should have just gone down and protected the ball at first contact.

I agree, but maybe trying to kill 6 seconds made him fight that little extra. It was a boneheaded play in hindsight, but could have been smart if he pulled it off. It's a fine line....

I agree that ONE play on McKelvins part was HUGE and its a TOUGH way for the Bills to lose a game BUT . . . . . . . . . its also the type of WIN that can predicate an entire season for a Pats team that needs an identity. There are a lot of new faces in the locker room in Foxboro these days, looked to me like that team was just figuring things out on the field last night. Their play didn't start to come together for them until the middle of the 4th qtr.

I've never seen a team that could find more ways to lose over the years then the Bills.
