Andy Reid would have rather gotten a 3rd string QB into a shootout with Drew Brees instead of working the clock and running the ball more. What a great coach we have.

...Oh you're a RavenFan this week ey Duane. But for a blown call on pass interference, the Bolts beat the Ravens and then what are you saying...the ravens are pretenders? You jackass...no wait, you're no Jackass! The Bolts played the Ravens right down to the wire with there all-pro nose tackle out for the year and half their offensive line out. I'm going to agree with ChargerMike. Chargers aren't in the pretender category. I'm pretty sure the Ravens were glad to get out of here.

If the Bolts had been able to score when in the "red zone" they wouldn't have needed that last TD. Right now they look like a good team in need a game plan and some decent coaching. Maybe I'm just bitter after watching that loss but I have a feeling that even with all of their first string they would have found a way go fuck it up.

On the other hand the Chargers are not as good as I thought they would be this season. There won't be too many easy wins this year with an Oline that can't run block, & a Dline that can't pressure the QB in crunch time. The Chargers aren't much different from Indy, take away Manning or Rivers, & there isn't much left that is elite.

Not going to argue whether Rivers is or isn't an "elite" QB, the results speak for themselves, but dude sure does have a strange throwing motion. At times, it almost looks like he's shot putting the ball with that double hitch.

Again, not going to argue with results. The ball gets there, just not sure how. Very unconventional.

It's going to be Chinese Water Torture for Bolt fan this season.
The team isn't gawd awful, but it also isn't really very good.
But Bolt fan wants to cling to the idea that they are a good team.

Losing J. Williams hurts your defense a bunch.

Roid Merriman doesn't have it.

The O-Line is in trouble.

LT is in sure decline.

Norv is an O-Coordinator.

You'll hang around in the soft West, but this Bolt team is very mediocre.

The Texans showed me they are not a team that will simply bend over and let teams ram it up their ass on Sunday. The defense had three blown assignments and it cost the Texans dearly; however, they responded in the second half with nasty defense and intestinal fortitude to eek a close game out on the road against a division opponent. The Texans were 0-6 against division foes on the road for the last two seasons. Not only that but they are only 4-12 on the road over the past two seasons as well. For them to win on the road against a legit opponent makes this team different than Texans teams in years past.

At least I know now that last week's loss to the Jets wasn't a fluke. Revis shutdown 'Dre Johnson and Randy Moss in consecutive weeks. Wow.

The Texans now need to make sure they don't have that pesky let down game they are so accustomed to after a big win. Fix the blown assignments and this team could have the complete package.
