3?

Oh well -- I picked the one that counted.

I would have been happy with just that one.

Now if I could just avoid getting fucked by the SEC.

Thanks 88 for humoring me. This is probably the closest I will get to winning a week this season. I've been averaging about 3-4 correct picks thus far. Btw, this past weekend was the annual rafting trip down the Gauley River-- rained the entire time. No PET unfortunately.

I have no clue why I am bombing in this season's T1B pick 'em on the board and owning all the other leagues I compete in. And before everyone starts their BS call out responses two of those leagues are with other people from T1B. :(

Plus, if you get hard enough rain, you can get some of that fog shit going on, which makes the trips around the corners even more spooky.
Gotta agree, 88. It rained the entire day but the river's temperature was actually warmer than outside. I've rafted the Gauley when the river temp was less than 50 degrees. Pretty damn cold.

But something else that happened on my trip last weekend that was scarier than the rafting itself. On the bus ride back up the mountain, our bus veered to the right and the back end slipped off the side of the road. We were actually tilted pretty far over and the bus could have easily tipped over or slid down the hill. As soon as it happened, jackass me called a "highside left" command which no one else found to be very funny at the time. One of the guides was able to pry the emergency door open in the back and all the people on the right side exited first. A couple people were a little panicked, but we all got out of there safely. Just goes to show you, that no matter what daredevil type of activities you decide to take on, getting inside a moving vehicle is still the most dangerous thing humans do on a daily basis.
