IF this game were in October, Boys win easily.
IF this game were in November, Boys dominate.

However this game is in December.

Merriman or no Merriman, Dallas win this easy. You're forgetting that the Chargers are a soft team and that this game in in the Palace.

With Romo zipping TDs yesterday to Roy in between clueless defenders, that's a sign of what they will do next week. The timing between those two is starting to be near perfect, and then you got Miles as a deep threat and Barber/Choice/Felix open all day underneath. Why WOULD you run? In a way I am looking past this game and really can't wait to see the fraud Saints get assblasted in their own stadium by Romo the following week. This Chargers game is not even worth mentioning. Just expect to see that front seven stuff the Charger running backs and frustrate Rivers all day long. Bradie James will be bending LT backwards on 0 yard gains and putting his arms out lengthwise while shaking his head. That's the mark of the Dallas December defense- young, fresh legs flying to the football with confidence. This whole bullshit notion about how Romo can't win in December will be shoved up everyone's asses when they win the next four games to go 12-4 with a possible bye. San Diego SUCKS.

Is it possible to ban someone for blatant myopia? Or is it really myopia?

There is no question this is the work of BD. I would like to ban this troll and I ask the powers that be to make this happen ASAP. The Boys still have a shot of a 2-3 record in December/January and a 10-6 record. That should be good to win the division.

Philadelphia (8-4) With both starting corners injured.
Denver (8-4) They were as 'for real' as the 49ers.
Giants (7-5) Conghlin taking the FG at the end was very Belicheatesque.
Miami (6-6) Nice little group of mediocrities.
Oakland (4-8) twice

Seriously, I was more worried about Cleveland than about the Cowgirls.

The Bolts have always had a tendency to look past the "easy" teams. Moreso than probably any other team in the NFL. A lot of people were looking at the Cleveland as almost a bye week. But this is a team that has nowhere to go but up, and they're starting to improve especially on offense.

The closeness of the Cleveland game did not surprise me at all. But it will surprise me if the Cowboys are still in this game by halftime

I'm telling you, this is where San Diego crashes. They have yet to play against Tony Romo, and they are coming TO Big D and playing a team that needs this win badly. The only reason the Giants won last week is because they were at home and needed the game more than the Cowboys did. Same situation in this game. Plus Wade was D-coordinator at SD back in '06 and many of those players are still there, so he's probably got a good bead on what they are going to do. That equates to tons of yards for Barber and open zones for Miles.

The Union-Tribune reports that Sunday's win over the Cowboys "assured" Chargers head coach Norv Turner of a contract extension.
Turner's current deal is up after the 2010 season.

Citing team sources, beat writer Kevin Acee reports that Turner could receive an extension "perhaps right after the regular season ends." The Chargers are a victory away from clinching a spot in the postseason, and could earn as high as the No. 2 seed in the AFC if they beat Cincinnati in Week 15 and the Broncos lose.

Everyone sure is quick to pile on Dallas but we'll know for sure who the cream of the NFC is after this Saturday when the Boys go to the Superdome. And Minnesota could easily lose to Carolina Sunday.

Rack San Diego for squeaking out a close one but they will be the first to tell you what a dangerous team the Cowboys are, esp. after bottling up Tomlinson all day and how Witten was smacking Merriman all over the field with blocks. And Romo had a 111.7 QB rating if you need him while spreading the ball around efficiantly to so many different receivers.

Well BD, you have your wish. The boys are all but done for the 2009 season. Continue on with the reverse karma, because I am actually getting a laugh out of Dallas' "Glass Joe" performances. This reverse karma will also pave the way for Wade to see his way out of head coaching (although I wouldn't mind seeing him on the sideline as a DC).
