The SEC in bowls so far is 5-4... In your wins you've had to have the officials save Ole Miss' asses against Oklahoma State in the fourth quarter, Allbarn need overtime to beat the 5th place team in the Big 10, East Carolina damn near beat Arkiesaw and controlled most of the game, and Georgia relied on a shit load of special teams gaffs to defeat a sorry ass Texass A&M team. In your losses Tennessee got utterly embarrassed by Va Tech and South Carolina was creamed by UCONN.

The Mountain West so far UNDEFEATED... 4-0, 100% winning percentage; only one of the games has even had a shred of competition for them and that was their last team, 5th place finisher, to get into a bowl game against another conferences #3 team. Air Force demolished its opponent, BYU embarrassed Oregon State, and Utah creamed Cal.

Fact: TCU played, and beat, just as many teams who have actually won their bowl games as Bama has this season.

Fact: while playing those teams TCU held them to lower average offensive points than Bama while nearly doubling them in average points scored. Period, end of story!

Your SEC and overall football analysis already has your ass sitting at 11-18 in the bowl pick 'em in the slot you managed to procure only for the simple fact that the sun shined on a dog's ass one day and you magically won a week... if not for that you'd be sitting at dead last in non-qualifiers category...

Do yourself a favor and try to act inconspicuous for a few days until you get to play another team with a less impressive resume than TCU for the mythical national title because the national media has the SEC's cock in their and your mouth. The only thing this bowl season has re-enforced is that the SEC was an overrated normal conference like damn near everyone else this season... and that's a best case scenario... While the Mountain West was clearly a much more difficult conference than you, or even I, gave them credit for being.

I expected 5 losses by SEC teams in bowls this year. Easily. As you said, Arkansas should have lost, Auburn tried to lose, South Carolina was beyond pitiful, etc. Although Tennessee was outclassed badly, they were a dropped pass by a wide open receiver from closing to 27-21 in that game. Though I'm sure they'd have still lost. I have said all season long that the SEC was not very good this year...except for two teams.

When have I sugggested that the SEC was a strong conference this season? I haven't. Other than Florida and Alabama, it's very average.

That said...the teams that TCU defeated to run the table couldn't win 10 games among them in the SEC...or the Big 10...or any other BCS conference (except the Big East). We're talking two totally different worlds here. Witness the Florida demolition of Cincinnati. Did anyone who had watched any college football not expect that? And Boise State's schedule should have eliminated them from any bowl other than the Independence Bowl at best.

I don't know where this SECBSH shit comes from. As a matter of fact, I said the SEC was down last year, as well as this year. That sounds like a negative comment to me.

BYU or TCU not even just very might have but almost certainly have still been able to pull out ten wins in any conference you put them in. Outside of that the fact remains that the Mountain West has the best bowl record of any conference. Four of their teams would have pulled out the same records kind of records that any other teams in the major conferences would have pulled out and have proven as much this bowl season. After watching the bowls I'd take Air Force heads up without a spread against over half the teams in the SEC on a neutral field and they finished fourth in the MWC: Miss Stake, Vandy, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Allbarn, or Kentucky. Half of the Mountain West conference would probably finish no worse than third in either division of the SEC, especially the east where they probably finish second. Two of their teams would be threat to win the conference from everything I have seen on the field for the last 5 months and especially the last month of bowl games.

I'm not trolling and I rarely drink. But why wouldn't I accept the analysis of a guy who picked less than 50% over the course of the season in the pick 'em and has one of the worst records on the entire board in the bowls. I mean shit I have no clue why I wouldn't take the word of a guy who finished behind me in the pick 'em, convincingly, even though they participated in 2 more weeks than I was able to do so.
