i wouldn't choose Hey Jude as the best beatles song--not really sure which i'd choose if i had ta, but it woulnd;t be Hey Jude. also: noting that two of those songs were originally performed by Otis Redding.

That list just pisses me off. I guess I'm kind of old school in that I think of music in terms of albums, rather than songs. It really bothers me that the music industry seems to be moving towards a more song-oriented format with the popularity of MP3s. I like albums. I like buying a CD and checking out the cover art, reading the liner notes, lyrics, etc. An album, to me, is a lot more than just a bunch of songs that I can DL for 99¢ a piece (if not free).

actually, that's the only one. i looked it up but for some reason i always thought satisfaction was his first. he did do it a few months after the stones....appears.
