Dunno...don't care.

I suspect Bama's the better team, yet Texas just seems to have that "destiny" thing going on. Also, it's in the Rose Bowl, where Texas performs magic.

How's this? I like Bama in a rout, or Texas in a close one.

Bama - 27
Texas - 13

Unfortunately... but I am dear near to the point where after putting up with all the BSHs both in real life living here but more especially SamUNwise on this board I am damn near ready to cheer for the Uterus pussies in burnt Orange... never could have imagined coming out of college that there would be a group of utter idiots and assholes that would not only make me consider rooting on the afterbirth Orange but actually want them to win a national title because I'd rather deal with them and keep it in the family than the inbred fuckwads.

'Bama's record in the Rose Bowl is pretty stout, as USC fan should know.
Let's try to keep it confined to games which occured during even Wolfie's lifetime, 'k? I mean, hell, Cal used to be good at football too.

Texas has been good in recent Rose Bowls.

Yeah, B-t-H, and look at it from my perspective: If OU were to play for a national title next year, who would you rather face as your opponent, Va Tech or USC?

I'm guessing that due to '04, the prospect of having to face USC again for all the marbles would put slightly more fear in you than facing a Va Tech team whose resume might be every bit as good. Doesn't matter that nobody from '04 is still there, besides some of the coaches.

Same thing, for me. The idea of Texas in a Rose Bowl will always give me pause now...if not bowel issues.

Hey, man. Not cool.
Give it a year or two... if you stay true to the Undergrad degree without being turned to the dark side you'll understand the sentiments after dealing with these people down the road.

I've never met less knowledgeable fan bases about the sport in general, it's history, great players, etc. Just like the majority of Bama fans not just saying but really believing they have between 12 and 14 National titles... which is about as accurate as me running around claiming 17 for Oklahoma because some guy named Berryman, Billingsly, DeVold, Dunkel, Sargain, Helms, or groups like College Football Research handed said we were or handed us one retroactively thirty some odd fucking years after the fact!!! "Guess what Bama fan we have seventeen national titles by your counting theory. Score...board." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Divis ... ampionship) :meds:

People Like Tim Teblow stating on National TV (CBS) how watching Herschel Walker brake the TD record was a life changing experience for him... Dude your weren't even fucking born until nine years after he broke the record... Herschel Walker was a freakin' Viking at the end of his NFL career when you were in diapers.

Every shit football program who has never won a damn thing or even a part of the reason the SEC is respected for it's football (i.e. SoCar, Miss. Stake, Arkiesaw, etc.) running around chanting
SEC! SEC! SEC!
at every ball sucking opportunity. None of you have done shit outside of two or three obscure seasons that only your fans remember because basically you have been a middle tier to shitty program damn near your entire existence. Hell you're conference doesn't even have the most National titles or All Americans; for fuck's sake you're not even second in either of those categories!

Or The Flooriduh fan explaining to me a few weeks ago why TCU and Boise State weren't even eligible to play in the BCS National title game because they're not in the SEC, Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, or Big East.

These fucking people don't deserve the teams they get, they're a bunch of morons and inbreds for the most part... even many of the grads are of the same mold as the trailer park/Tshirt fans that OU and Texas despise and get embarrassed by on their message boards.

Here's your problem. You live in SEC land. You probably ran your mouth over the last few years (when over-ranked OU was in the championship game every one of the times), and then when OU got their fucks cut, they piled on you like moisture in m2's ass after getting a train by Medusa.

A. You're as bad (if not worse) than any BSH around here.
B. You're a SECBSR. SEC Ball Sucking Resenter. You resent the ever-living fuck out of the SEC, because you have to live smack fuck in the middle of it while you're a B12BSH.
C. If it got to me as bad as it seemingly gets to you, I'd move back to those flat fucking wheat fields and enjoy.
D. You still know your ass about the Civil War. :D
E. I'd still get drunk with you.

'Bama - 28
Texas - 10
A) No I am not... I pick against Oklahoma in the pick 'em more than I ever for them. I was the first OU fan on this board to tell it like it was and that we would be lucky to get to 8 wins this season before the Texas game.
B) You may be correct about this but has nothing to do with me talking shit and everything to do with idiots and inbreds that don their gear when I doubt they even graduated High school much less attended and institution of higher learning. I'm also not a Big12BSH. I give two shits about any team in the Big 12 other than Oklahoma the majority of the time... Hell I just got through arguing with fellow conference mates that about how both TCU and BSU would beat Nebraska and most likely win the Big 12 North, going away and convincingly at that.
C) I am from the East Coast and South Central Texas not the Oklahoma plains... I chose to go to Oklahoma for college and promptly escaped after college. I love the University not state.
D) TY
E) I would still do the same.

Of course I am transplant motherfucker... this town would have about a population of 150 (hyperbole) if not for transplants. Half the county is affiliated with the military (Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, Army Ranger school, etc.) 40% are other bastards like me who bring income, education, and family wealth to the community from Alabama, Mississippi, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, etc. They should be thankful we have done so because otherwise they might have a whole 25 fucking residents in the entire county who have a degree from something other than a Community College or a directional school and they'd still be trolling around on fishing trollers and living in the olden wooden shacks like up in De Funiak Springs and Laurel Hill instead of living in 3,000sq ft. houses and high rise condominiums.

It's all about the pick em. And I need a low scoring game, it could come down to the tie breaker.

Bama wins, but in February they face a huge scandal that rocks the entire program, forcing Saban to resign and forfeiting the victories of 2009. Texas is awared a trophy and penciled in as champions after the fact, not even getting a consolation trip to the White House.
