i used to praise ESPN360

Post by King Crimson »

but, they've put the screws in ESPN style where everything comes with a big fuggin bend-over for sports and not "entertainment" fans. they blackout over half the Big XII games in Colorado. there's no reason the ISU-OU should be listed on ESPN360 and blacked-out in Boulder, Colorado. they do this crap all the time.

i stopped reading the site, watching the "shows" (which are mostly about the peculiar, unbelievably hypocritically conceit that "sports are over-covered by the media") on ESPN. years ago. basketball, football....i'm interested what happens when the whistle blows the first time and the last time. that's it. i don't need the story behind the story, or the chick fan appealing backstory behind player so and so, and the "analysts" going psychoanalysis on player x. nor do i need them pumping the conferences they cover like a bull moose in heat, to borrow a phrase.

now 360 is just the same swindle. why do they blackout Big XII games in Denver....no gives a shit in Denver and the people who do....are among the 5500 peeps who are watching CU play Nebraska tonight. one of the fiercest, low level, kind of who gets to .500 at best in conference (not this year) hoops rivalries ever?

instead its' Duke handjobs all over the place. hell, i don't even hate Duke. i started grad school at Duke. but, why can't they give me a regional game?

why do i need to watch coach K "coach his ass off" up 11 with .54 left? what is that as sports fans we need cum-shot coronation with K and Boeheim.

they are great coaches but let's watch a close game end rather than TO's and fouls and a double digit lead.

That's not 360s fault. ESPN does not hold the rights to these games but they buy the ability to show them from the holders of said rights. Often that is with the stipulation that they not be shown in the teams conference's regions.

cs is not always reliable and still seems to have blackout issues. click on a 360 game and half the time you default to the other 360 non blackout game.

hear you, but i get 360 for free since U of Colorado is my ISP. from the perspective, maybe i shouldn't complain but there were not the same blackouts of Big XII game last year as this. either it is or isn't with ESPN. always a catch. it's like meth, the first time is free.

i watch games on channelsurfing or justinTV but it's hit or miss. and the vid quality is like Monet sometimes. i'm an OU guy living out of state, i know all the angles. i've got a Panasonic "Boom Box" that i bought in 9th grade that pulls in OKC's KOMA at night. i've been doing this for 15 years. i heard Jameel Heywood beat Missouri on that thing.

it's just like that. fucking a.
