Whether it's right or wrong in fact, no proof means a person must be viewed as innocent, because there is no other consistent standard by which guilt or innocence may be judged. If we attempt to apply any other arbitrary, "gut feel" standard, where does it all end?

I don't know or even care whether Ben did any of this shit. It's just another news story to me; one that's no different than reading about some celebrity getting busted for a DUI, or Oprah losing fifty pounds. I don't give a fuck.
