Gameday at Mizzou
For the first time ever. I reckon this counts as a Big Game in the BTPCF landscape.
Fuck you OU. Fuck your snide arrogance.
Mizzou is going to beat the ever living shit out of you on prime time TV for all the world to see.

will be pretty embarrassing for mizzou when only sooner fans are crowded around the gameday set after the game's over.

Re: Gameday at Mizzou
Not to make SoonerFan’s case, but I suppose that I might be just a bit snidely arrogant too if we had whipped a school seven straight times over a 12 year period by a combined score of 269-116.
New-and-improved D or not, I am fascinated to see what the Tigers are going to do with an OU squad that exploded for 672 total yards last Saturday against ISU, with 325 of ‘em coming on the ground.
I also kind of get the impression that Mizzou’s spread attack doesn’t exactly leave Oklahoma quaking in its cleats either. If we’ve learned anything by watching the Tigers over the past several years, Missouri’s spread offense will make a bad team with inferior athletes look REALLY bad. But that hasn’t been the case when we’ve lined up against OU. They have the hosses to diffuse the spread’s effectiveness, and since everybody and their brother has played this style of O in the league over the past few years, it isn’t likely the Tigers are exactly going to sneak up on anybody with what they like to do. The lack of any semblance of a running game leaves Mizzou one-dimensional as well, and could spell a recipe for disaster come Saturday night.
Still, we have the hoopla of Gameday, Homecoming, and #1 coming into Columbia. And they ARE kids. SoonerFan has expressed that he is less than impressed with Landry Jones this year, but 32-38 for 347 yards last Saturday suggests that the kid had a pretty nice game and may well be tuned up for a title run. OklahomaFan should best hope so: They’re gonna need good quarterback play if they hope to hang on to their BCS ranking….

Lee Corso will begin the day by donning a Boomer Sooner hat during College Game Day. The crowd will hold up signs proclaiming Paul O' Linney as their favorite Irishman, Herbstreit will groan, Desmond Howard will smile and wonder where his cue card is, but Corso will stand and turn to the crowd and act as if his cute antics deserve recognition.

and that is when KLEIZA RIPS HIS FUCKING HEAD OFF!!
The sorry steer inseminators from Norman will experience great embarrassment when their meth dreams are interrupted by Aldon Smith walking off the field with Landry Jones' good ol' boy carcass stuck to the bottom of his shoe. MAKE YOUR TIME. Your Sooners may share the name of previous teams, but the only thing those teams have in common with this one is an O-Line that weighs more than Rhode Island.

Yeah, I could see where settin' up camp at a school with an Intelligence Quotient 50 points north of room temperature might be a switch from Badgerville. Might also be nice not having to negotiate a game-day route around the 6000-or-so disability scooters needed to haul brat-grease-and-mustard-stained, cheese-dribbling Wisconsin fat-asses into their preferred seating at Camp Randall as well....Goober McTuber wrote:Gotta be tough on the Gameday crew going from God's Country to a shithole like Mizzou.

Re: Gameday at Mizzou
Looks like we've got some epic board battles going on this week.
The Oklahomos versus the Inbreds
and
Screw_Michigan's bitch versus Me and Mace.
The awesomeness that is this board during "board rivalry week" should have its own segment on College Gameday. What else are they going to talk about down in Missouri? The state's annual (mis)Spelling Bee? Cousin fucking? Truman's penis envy of Iowa?

Holy fuckm, Rack Bace!
Is Aldon really playing? Way/No way? Pinkel been saving him up for just such an occasion? Dude is the Greek God Adonis of pass rushers. Mizzou churns out the DE's named Smith who will play on Sunday.
And LMAO at Moby's jibe. I hate OU, but I don't hate OUfan.
------------
Tru's take aside, there's no fucking way the Schooners walk off Faurot field with a W Saturday. Nyet, not gonna' happen. This defense is for real. You don't hold ATM to 9 points otherwise. This secondary can cover and Steckel is like a madman dialing up the blitzes.
Take the under, 23-14

way way way way WAY too many weapons OU has for Mizzou to handle.
Murray, Madu, Finch and Clay..along with Broyles and Stills....
and quite possibly OU's greatest weapon, believe it or not is fullback Trey Millard.
fuckers aint got a chance.
by the way..paging Adelpiero anyone???

I knew about quarter beer being on Friday when I went up to help Alex fix his car after he got off last week. Josh and and Bill said they needed something to fill the poker gap and they already have boneless night on Thursdays. I was able to get a good 45 minutes in and banter with Sarah while she handled the stream. I've been meeting up with Alex, Lee, and Myrna after hours at the other places we frequent. I should be back up on the regular as soon as crazy bitch gets fired or quits finally.

Srsly, Oklahoma gonna win. Each one of their oline guys weighs as much as our front four. Like Texas, they will just fall onto our dline, eat another donut and be too damned heavy for our speedy ends to lift off.
