Re: Sugar Bowl
Arkie punter consistently dropping punts inside the five.....Arkie receivers dropping the ball all over the field.

Good call. I agree, but will Tressel?Papa Willie wrote:If I'm OSU, I bootleg Pryor's ass on almost every play from here on out. Arkie is just fucking set on them running up the middle.
Re: Sugar Bowl
Ahh, this is like a PAC game in conference.
No call on Arkansas for a facemask and horse collar on Herron and marking the ball a yard short on Pryor's run.

Re: Sugar Bowl
Perfect execution by Pryor playing the injury and apology in the post game interview for sympathy. Perfectly worked. Supporting role props to his teammates for holding him up.

Re: Sugar Bowl
I will say this in defense of TP as a player though. I always get a vibe from the media (especially Cowherd) that they regard TP's career as a bust given his expectations. Back to back BCS bowl MVP's isn't exactly Ron Powlus type fail.

we popped the cherry but I still want to strangle that little midget fuckhead...
he fucking turtled that offense up in the 2nd half...
oh and Cam Heyward probably improved his draft stock by about 20 picks last night into the top 15 or so...Arkansas had NO ANSWER for him...one of my favorite Buckeyes!

Re: Sugar Bowl
Sweet Christ Tressel, thanks for shaving another year off my life. Coach managed to do everything he could to fuck up that game and his defense -- YET AGAIN -- saves his ass. I thought the offense looked unstoppable in the 2nd quarter (TE quick pass to Fragel was a great play) but as usual, the Vest closed up shop after halftime. That shit may work in the cold 30 degree weather against Illinois but sure as hell should've bitten him in the ass on the fast track against a high-powered offense like Arky. Lucky is hardly the word to describe.
Loved the standup job that ESPN did to constantly remind us all of how many big plays the suspended players made during the game. Uhh, thanks dipshits.

Re: Sugar Bowl
I didn't really think there was anything wrong with the playcalling in the 2nd half. Seemed to me Arkie just ratcheted up the defense. Well, except for that run up the middle on 3rd down at the end of the game. I would've passed or at least rolled out Pryor to try and pick up the first and ice the game.
Ahh, the beauty of armchair coaches. With revisionist history instead of a playcall sheet, we're never wrong.

Re: Sugar Bowl
Sanzenbacher is another guy that tOSU will not be able to replace next year. Love the kid, always plays his hardest and lays out for every ball. Wasn't a five-star recruit by any means when he came in as a frosh, but had a great work ethic and just loves Ohio State. Hope Tress can find a few more just like him.
