Seahawks /Saints

Post by Trampis »

First meeting on Nov. 21 ended with the Saints winning 34-19. Drew Brees went 29 for 43 with 382 yds.

Matt Hasselbeck, whos back behind center this week after backup Charlie Whitehurst gave a solid performance last week went 32 for 44 with 366yds. in the Saints game.

Bad start for the Seahawks as they blotched the kickoff giving the Saints good field position.3-0 Saints  . Hawks get the ball, rolling out to his right on a third and one,Hasselbecks pass is tipped and incercepted by the Saints  . A pass interference call on third down gives the Saints first and goal  10-0 Saints 8 minutes into the game. :brad:

I'm not sure that anybody gives even the tiniest bit of shit about this game.

Maybe so but this is a great game. Very evenly matched with 1 turnover each and a slight edge to the Seahawks 24-20. Hasselbeck looks great as does Brees.

Hasselbeck before the game got a needle full of fluid drawn out of his hip to relieve pressure on the ailing joint.

Hasselhoff had a pretty good game against them the first time around.

How Earl Campbell of Marshawn Lynch!!!

Bouncing off of guys...pushing/tearing away. The onl thing missing from that run was to have his jersey half torn off. Very macho. Way to step up when your team needs it too.

Nice!

Let's not get carried away here, dude. They did beat the Bears earlier this year, though, so maybe a conference championship appearance isn't totally out of the question.
