Thick of It. great political satire, so profane it's unreal. Ian McShane's Al Swearingen is Wally Cleaver by comparison to Malcom Tucker. but, utterly sublime. so good.
Phoneshop: almost incomprehensible accents and jargon at times, but worth it.
the InBetweeners: got some good stuff, kids trying to get laid, jerking off, unreal expectations of getting some, lying about it,....works as a one-trick pony.
The World Around You: a parody of public cable access TV education shows in the UK. hilarious.
Green Wing: lot of people from other stuff (Big Train, Black Books, Peep Show, The Office, Spaced, etc)....pretty good so far.
some UK suggestions

""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

Is 'The World Around You' the right name? Sounds interesting, I'm looking for it but can't find anything, never heard of it.

Nice, took awhile but found it.
Alternatively, if you haven't already, check out Phoenix Nights. A few years old but I don't think there's any other show I could watch an episode over and over like that one.

'The Royle Family' is good, working class family sits around the television. I've got a friend from Leicester who moved to Budapest and said he watched it once and never again, it hit too close to home
