The downfall of wealth, health and freedom and people are just apathetic. Whereas in our country long ago there would be outrage and action. The world has turned their back on God and God will turn his wrath on us? I'm like, whoa, where did this come from? I tend to be a little spiritual but I'm not really a believer and find Christians kind of annoying. She insisted with a smile how amazing that everything is becoming true to the word.

Dins, I don't think Christians necessarily show themselves to know right from wrong better than non-believers do.
In fact, it often seems that the opposite is true.

It might be that there is a misunderstanding of what I've said - or of what the Gospel is.

People are spiritual captives.
It doesn't matter what they try to do, they can't get out of what they are.
Awful suffering and ultimate failure is a man's fate.

But God didn't leave us alone in that fate.
He skipped right over Adam and gave us the solution - which is not of Adam's seed.

It's very very simple to get out of the awful fate.

We are told that God created the earth in the beginning, but are not told when the beginning was.

Such things could be interesting to discuss, but they are not why the Bible was written.

The Bible was written to point us to our salvation - John 5:39, John 20:31.
