Ha ha.
1.4 million of us in San Diego County did not get to see the game.
My power is back on now. :)

The power outage thing was a bit touchy, though. My usual 45 minute commute took about 145 minutes. Got home to no electricity so I had to get out the camping lantern, defrost a thick slab of top sirloin and cook it on the grill. Salad and sourdough eased the pain of having to grill over charcoal and mesquite. Sat outside, watched the stars and cracked two bottles of red instead of the usualm one. Oh the pain.
Usually work from home on Fridays, email at the office isn't back online though. I just don't know that I'm going to do.

When the power went out at 3:40 PM everyone just decided to leave work (it's 100 degrees outside) and oops, gridlock as no traffic lights were working. It's Thursday night and I guess no one has any food in the house and no restaurants are open, oops. Interesting night in San Diego. We bbq'ed some Nathan's hotdogs and had them on bread because that's what I had in the house.

Not really. It was caused by some maintenance worker in Arizona throwing the wrong switch. The Seer wrote:Kind of like finding a long lost love letter from....Mikey wrote: The power outage thing

Pity we aren't allowed to build power stations in California and depend on Arizona for power. Besides I thought we were boycotting those evil racists for passing that illegal immigration law.Mikey wrote:Not really. It was caused by some maintenance worker in Arizona throwing the wrong switch.
