Anybody have Gaddafi in the death pool?

Post by Terry in Crapchester »

We don't know for sure yet, apparently, but at this point I'm not betting against it.

Score one for NATO. That said, it is the ghosts of Lockerbie, Berlin, the Achille Lauro and the thousands of his own countrymen Gahdafi unjustly killed, tortured and imprisoned who should be remembered today. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I spent about 25 days on that ship. It was the Dutch liner Willem Ruys back in 1964, and we sailed from Sydney to Miami, passing through the Panama Canal.

My goodness. The times do change, don't they? It wasn't so long ago that Eurotwats and other leftist shitballs were tearing their hair out at the prospect that Saddam might not get a fair trial.

But that was when Bush was in office. Nowadays it's cool to steal a country for its oil and summarily execute its leader.

"Good job," hypocrites.

Hussein must have fair trial to ensure justice
November 06, 2005

Now that Hussein's government has fallen, Amnesty International continues to demand that he and others responsible for gross human-rights violations be held accountable. In order to ensure a full accounting, however, Hussein and the other defendants must receive a fair trial in line with international standards.

http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2005 ... aqi-people
Can Saddam Hussein get a fair trial?

"That is the crime that the international community requires should be tried, and the allegations are of such wickedness that they should be tried by a proper international court" to guarantee the trial's fairness and credibility, argues Mr. Robertson, who sits with Sierra Leonean and foreign judges on a United Nations war crimes tribunal. "This is a missed opportunity."

Some critics of the Iraqi tribunal (including Hussein's lawyers) argue that it is not legitimate because it derives from an invasion of Iraq that was illegal in the first place. But even opponents of the former Iraqi regime, who have been trying to put Hussein on trial for many years, are disappointed by the way he is being brought to justice now.

Let's not forget that if Gaddafi had been killed while Smirky McFlightsuit was still in office, you'd be IndyFriscoing him all over this sordid clambake.

You'll forgive me if I don't hold my breath waiting for you to give Obama the same treatment.

ALERT!! this just in on Youtube, it shows the final few minutes of Gaddafi's life, his last words were, "Dont shoot!" Then he is shot twice. OH well, good riddance, It reminds me of the final scene in the cornfields in "CASINO". Joe pesci and his brother violently killed with baseball bats.
