Sparty is puttin' the boots to the Hawkeyes in the first half. Damn. Gotta hope Iowa mounts a comeback in the second half and maybe start it out with a scoring drive to end the first. Otherwise, MSU is gonna get some sweet payback for last year's embarrassing loss to the Hawks. I was not expecting this, but Iowa has shot themselves in the foot too many times with penalties and turnovers. They're playing like Jerry Sandusky gave the pre-game speech and maybe took a few of them to the showers.

try again. Gundy has called off the dogs a few times. but, they've been threatened in one game (last week, the game you are universalizing) and won at ATM in a close one (before ATM had quit on the season). otherwise they score 45+ and win by 3 scores or more. they've covered every week but last.

Props to Michigan State for winning the game and outplaying the Hawkeyes most of the afternoon. Lots of "what ifs" in this one but Sparty outplayed Iowa all day and were successful in shutting down Coker and the Iowa running game. Anyway, congats on winning whichever of those divisions we're in and good luck in the first Big 10 conference chanmpionship game. I'm not sure what's going to happen in the other division now that PSU went down today but, so far as Iowa is concerned, it doesn't really matter.
