I made the drive from Yosemite Valley to the northern end of Fresno (or at least at that time....41 & Herndon) dozens upon dozens of times, and got it down to around 2:15. That's knowing every one of the many curves from YV to Coarsegold, not needing to slow like most people would. Average non-resident would take at least 2:45.

This you come up with a comedic gold nugget of ignorance that it's a couple of hours between SF & YV. Try four hours, numbnuts.
