Couple of things, if his plane was used it would have had to have been for takeoff and landing or superslow flight. Jets of that time that were designed for super high speed were crap at handling slower speeds. Sinatras jet at 500 mph would have been left behind by either the F104 or the Valkerie in most situations.
Further most camera planes are modified so that the cameras are attached outside the plane. Don't see how there would be time to do that in just an hour or so.
Sounds unlikely but who the he'll knows.

Look at the black sky. Those pics are taken at a seriously high altitude. I would guess above the Lear's ceiling.
